Alternative title: Muchabot.
My hand will never forgive me for this. I don't really know where this one came from. I just had this idea, since art nouveau is all about flowy shapes and robots are all about INorganic shapes and symmetry... why not merge the two? It may not perfectly capture the style, and it's not very naturey, but I tried, and I can't say I'm sure if we were supposed to stick TO nature, so I decided to stick to style over... conten? After last week's trees I'm burnt out! ;D I ALSO don't know if robots are considered pop culture, but I liked the idea too much to put down.
I did run into an Art Nouveau styled Ironman picture after this came to my head, so I had to go to lengths to make sure I didn't subconsciously wind up making a robut that looks like Ironman.
This design is brought to you by 90s/early 2000s bubblegum pop.

But while we're on the subject (kind of), I went through a few color schemes. One was a reddish-orange, which stood out nicely, but I thought the aquamariiiiine tealy color was way better.

You did a wonderful job merging the two together. If you think about it, it's not that strange to have a robot among Art Nouveau; after all, lamps were a very common media for the style (if lamps can be media), so why not a robot?

It does look a *little* Iron Man-ey with the lights and the shape of the mask but I don't think it's too close.

The contrast between the robot and the softer, flowing lines is wonderful. I also like that you went with these colors instead of the other idea.

This is amazing! I wish there was no mouth because I feel it almost takes away from the expression. Some silver flowing hair would be awesome too. Great job this is amazing!

Yah, what endangeredomega said =( I have a thing for robots and this one is part of such an unusual design, I love it. There are some beautiful designs in this derby, but this was the only one I really really wanted. Please let us know if it gets made elsewhere!

The fact that in the end this design didn't make the fog breaks my heart. I prayed and prayed for this design to have been made but it just goes to show you what fantastic work people will let slip through the cracks just because they like their same old same old... This design was so much better than at least two of the designs I see still in the fog... they're just BAD! This better get re submitted in the future!
