I'd vote for this one in a heartbeat if the soldiers weren't yellow. It's too easy to be accused of racism.

I must first say that this derby as a whole is pretty weak. But that being said, this is far and away easily the best shirt in it. +1

I like it, but I think it'd look better on a blue shirt. Either way it looks great!

That's such a stretch. One of the original colors of the game pieces was yellow. I think they were all simple colors: blue, red, yellow, green & black.

As an Australian who hears racist Australian's refer to the "yellow invasion" and the "yellow threat" in reference to our Asian neighbours, I don't feel it's a stretch.

I'm not saying the artist has that intent. I'm not saying most people wouldn't see it as the innocent picture it is. All i'm saying is that I as an anglo-Australian would expect and could hardly fault the offence this might generate from some people.

Which is a shame because I love this design.

I thought the same thing. No presumption of intent on the artists part, but yeah, could easily be interpreted that way.

The only problem I have with this shirt is that there are only 5 armies on the board. I know that it's just for the "The Final Stand" effect, but if you've got all of Australia, and you've only got 5 armies there, you're doing it wrong. End of story.
