It's not the end of the world, guy. They will probably give you one more.

Haha love it.
Re: Drama Lord
Very funny! You'd be pretty hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't felt like this at some point(s). Stupid gravity.
Re: Drama Lord
Love how the scoop of ice cream is shaped like the Death Star

Now you made me wish that an ice cream scoop capable of making an ice cream death star existed.
Re: Drama Lord
Rasabi went pop culture....
Well, I guess you know on which side the bread is buttered.

<.< >.> maybe I shouldn't be linking this.
When I first started designing shirts I had no desire whatsoever of doing pop-culture. I've learned that you'll be more successful in the long run if you stay open to different concepts. If Woot has opened the floodgates then you may as well let your brain wander everywhere because you're that much more likely to land on something that does well.
Funnily enough, it goes both ways. I've fallen into the trap of concentrating only on pop-culture topics and ended up with some pretty lackluster designs.

Yes, I know. I don't blame you at all, but I do prefer your other work.
Re: Drama Lord
Can't say that I like this one, but I do think pop culture is OK in moderation. If somebody gets a really great idea that fits the theme they should feel free to do it. It's when somebody pimps the pop culture (or whatever other popular schtick) every week it gets stagnant and annoying.

!!!
If we can buy a Star Trek pizza cutter why can't we have a Death Star ice cream scoop? There has to be a way to make something like that work.
Re: Drama Lord
Hahaha... Hilarious :D

For what it's worth, that is one of my husband's favorite shirts. And that's really saying something with his woot collection (of which probably a dozen are Mario-themed).
We love your range, man. Don't ever change. (Except for all the willingness to change. That's cool.)

Awww, thanks for saying so. In return here is a Douglas Adams anecdote I just read that has nothing to do with stars or wars at all but made me laugh when I really needed it.
Re: Drama Lord
I find the cone shape and placement interesting.
Re: Drama Lord
This made me chuckle
Very funny and well done!
Re: Drama Lord
This is very clever. However, for ideological reason I cannot vote for it and I hope it doesn't print. It's sad really.

Whyyyyyyyy?

It's a reference to one of the prequels, and I cannot endorse that kind of thing.

Are his eyes watering or is it just highlighting?

Great story.

Haha. I hear you. I think the main reason the joke works is because of how over the top the scene in the movie was... I understand it brings up bad memories for many though.
