It's about the Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
There's a very famous poem in Redwall that goes:

Favorite series back in middle school. I would totally buy this just to see how many people got the reference. It's so rare that I find any other fans.

I highly recommend the audio books for the series. They are done up like radio plays with full voice acting and background music. Brian Jacques did the narration with family and friends as various characters. Good stuff that.

I agree, I used to read all the Redwall books and they are great but you may have just opened Pandora's box. Who thinks there will be Redwall cute animals in every derby from now on?
