Re: Listen!
I'm curious to see how fast the "ramyb effect" will propel this design to the fog...
(not bad, by the way)
Re: Listen!
Usually a RamyB hater, but of the Zelda designs this is the best. Still wish it had a sword or something tho.
Re: Listen!
This is a fun design and all, but I just really wish the wings to either side of the crest were more"Zelda-like". Stylized in some kind of tribal-Hyrulian way. It looks just a little too... eh. And it'd be nice to see some more rupees incorporated into the edge of the crest. Looks just a little too isolated with its features.
Am I the only one who thinks this?
The inner design of the crest is great. Good texture and contrast and shape to it. Really wish the rest of it was a bit more fluid.

i agree....it also looks a bit rushed or uninspired... it looks like he had a good idea and started it and then ran out of ideas... it almost looks unfinished. not much really going on in this design...and im sure it will prolly fog and if we are unlucky it will prolly place and knock a better design out B^(

Or conversely, it's the essence of the idea without unecessary things to clutter it up. Did you get the joke? Would swords and more rupees make the joke funnier? Simple works.

That is my general complaint with Ramyb designs.
But I'd get this for 12 bucks, I think. It really is one of the only Zelda designs I've really liked so far (though I admit it could be better...more Hyrulian style and all)
Zelda Always Rocks! +1

ill agree that most of the time simple works for most things but then you have the side where it just looks unfinished and that's what this looks like
Re: Listen!
I think the design of the shirt is perfectly fine, but the "Listen!" joke is pretty much played out. I feel there are far better ways to honor the lineage of Zelda than by calling attention to a minor character in the scope of the entire series.

To be fair, the minor character calls attention to herself, constantly, with no way to shut her off...

The mute button works pretty well, but I understand your gripe. ;)
My point was that regardless of her annoying prattling, she appears in one game out of dozens. Centering a crest around her doesn't pay tribute to the series as a whole. I would have found a way to incorporate look-alike consoles on which the games have appeared. Maybe a kid who's growing up and experiencing a new Zelda game with each new console. Something that expresses for how long Zelda has been a part of our lives.
To me, that seems a more touching tribute than pointing out the Jar Jar of the series. Either way, it's irrelevant now as Ramy has once again worked that Ramy magic. ![]()

A very twisted fanboi once made a very convincing arguement that the primary issue with Episode 1 is that JarJar is the protagonist of the story. He's introduced at the begining of the film, and starts as an unexperienced character. He's present at most of the action. Over the course of the film he experiences personal growth, wins the final battle, and receives his reward.
