Re: In Joss We Trust

I'm fairly sure that I don't even need a real write up for this entry...because really either you know Whedon...or you've been living under a rock for the last 20 years!

This man inspires in his fans a loyalty unmatched in almost any fandom. Between Browncoasts, aspiring vampire huntresses, and the most recent incarnation of amazing superheroes, it's no wonder so many are swearing fealty at his feet.

Here's the big one!

I'm still voting. maybe i'll buy a large and make a pillow. I'd also prefer it on a different color. I've never been a fan of this green.

I know, right? That was my reaction when I found out he did screenplay stuff on it.

I personally, like the green, it goes nicely with the design.

I am having a brain fart on the hat + grenade part. Where is that from again?

Firefly, in the series Jayne is given a knitted hat. Also known as his 'cunning hat'. He also loves grenades.

Alien: Resurrection is not one of his prouder moments. I'd probably go with Dr. Horrible or something in that square. Otherwise love the shirt.

I agree, I think Buffy really deserves to be on the shield and Alien Resurrection was not that good of an Alien movie aside from all the witty banter. Plus Whedon is known for creating his own interesting detailed universes and his work on Alien:R was just a screenplay in somebody else's franchise.

I find I may not be able to pass up something that contains a Titan AE reference.

I wore a small in the old shirts. D:

But I'm still going to vote for this. I can wear the new shirts as pajamas, at least.

Must have this shirt! The Firefly and Dr Horrible references alone had me, but throw in some of his other works, and now you have me all on edge hoping that it prints.

Needs more Buffy.

Regardless, GMV and most certainly will buy if it prints. I don't care if I have to learn Tailoring and re-sew the damn anvil shirt myself.

What, no Toy Story reference? :-)

I'll be honest, I didn't have the time or space(didn't want it to look cluttered), for everything I wanted to do on this shirt.
As for the buffy reference, I realise now it could have been stronger. I wanted to give it a much bigger prominence in the design than things on the shield itself. Shield stuff = little stuff, Giant goggles, Mal's pistol, and the Vamp-Stake, all big things! I should have included something else buffy-esque but I couldnt really think of a small item or something that would really represent the show, other than the wooden stake.

Good that he didn't, because using the proper name "Joss" would have been a violation of the rules, and got the shirt Rejected.

Rejectionator killed all the shirts with names this morning.

Maybe some fangs or something? I don't know, I'm no artist and you don't tell me how to do my job. Anyways, love love love the shirt. I really hope it gets printed and good luck :-)

If the artist had the words on the shirt it would have been reject. No proper names and all that Jazz.

I <3 this shirt so much! If it wins it's going to be bought so hard.

Too bad you think that only "Privatized Profits, Socialized Losses" is actually capitalism and not a form of government enforced corporate gambling debt payoffs. Because that's what the system put in place since Reagan is... it is certainly NOT the capitalism you'd smugly like to think it is.
