Re: Library Diner

Firefrogh, I really like this and I deeply appreciate the reference to books/libraries - GMV for that alone (although there's plenty of other things that I like about it!). However, I feel like the white tagline over the light blue arrow is a little difficult to read - they kinda blend together, so I had to concentrate to parse the text. I hate to make critical comments once entries have opened, but I fear the difficulty reading the text will have a negative impact on votes and/or sales; I wonder if it might stand out more if the arrow were a darker blue?

This would be so much better if it was not grammatically incorrect

Re: Library Diner

I like it. Not only is it a restaurant theme, but also ties nicely into back-to-school time. I know a few teachers out there that will love this!

It says "for free." It's just "free."

You do realize that grammar is a radial structure which therefor prohibits the correct/incorrect dichotomy, right?

This.

Also, I would argue that it a) IS grammatically correct, since "feed your brain free" doesn't convey what is free - feeding your brain? the brain itself? maybe if it was "set your brain free" I would agree with you. "... For Free" is definitely the correct way to express this phrase. And b) Since when do graphic design for advertisements require complete sentences, proper grammar, or avoidance of prepositions? (Ok, maybe sometimes the grammar can be important, but I argue that it can be venacular/common grammar and doesn't need to be "proper" grammar)

(wow, I can't believe how many times I misspelled grammar in that post...)
