Re: Victory through Chaos

I strive to use my powers for good instead of evil, but sometimes you just have to smash your face on the game pad and hope for the best.

The kanji on the left means Chaos, and the kanji on the right means Victory.

I have a girlfriend I would need to buy this shirt for. :^)

Re: Victory through Chaos

This is me.
(That said, I got remarkably far in Street Fighters by button mashing... the faster you mash, the more chance of something cool happening! Ha)

My brother mastered every combo of every game...and I'd hold my own against him with low hit, high hit, low hit, high hit...and a random button mash when my power bar maxed. I need this shirt!

Good idea... Haha. Makes me think of all the time spent at Arcades not knowing what I was doing playing Tekken Tag.

Reminds me so much of Soul Calibur experiences. :')

This is my favorite (and only) Street Fighter + Super Smash Brothers strategy.

Look, there's only so many hours in a day! Plus, this is a time honored tradition - it's in the "how to be a lady" manual. ;)

It's more astounding how everyone else masters these! My husband, who can't remember where his keys are, remembers esoteric button sequences from the original Mortal Combat for every character! (I learned one sequence for one character, and determined that the mash worked almost as well.) This is at least 15 years ago.

Oh my goodness. I NEEEEED this shirt. I love me some fighting games but I am never good enough to not button mash.

Re: Victory through Chaos

LOL!!! I can be one of these, depending on the game... but I still win a lot of the time hehe. But for me, there is a flow and rhythm to the mashing - it's an art!
Funny and looks sharp on the tee!

Edit: hehe just read through the comments, and all the video game references too... soul calibur, street fighter, tekken... memory lane!!

Vote!

I thought the same exact thing right before I scrolled down to read what others were saying

Thanks for all the votes and comments, all! Fighters are probably my favorite games for consoles.

I'd definitely be wearing this shirt while playing though. I've found my brain decided the innumerable combos weren't worth keeping in there over the years. Guess it had to make room for the all the childrens show jingles parenthood subjects you to...

I AM CONFUSED....
This shirt got 3rd most votes, just 2 less than second place... but it didn't go to print - instead one that got 51 less votes won?????

Can someone explain this to me? Maybe a missed something saying it got disqualified???

This shirt was a INSTANT BUY for me... I have no interest in the one that did get printed (no offense to artist, I'm just not a role player)

The derby winners are now decided differently than top 3 vote getters. 1st place is determined by highest votes, 2nd place is chosen by the woot staff editors, and 3rd place is chosen by a guest editor which changes every week.

This started back during the Gold derby.
