X-box x wings would have been a clever tie-in, but the x-star seemed too good to not do. Also, I kind of liked the idea of Microsoft being the Empire.

Why is the aluminum falcon playstation black like the empire? I would figure it to be grey(closer to the films) and symbolically inbetween the two forces. I know they too are an evil corporation and that Nintendo and the Wii were rebels going for cute rather than hardcore, but MS and Sony still are competing with each other.

That is absolutely fantastic!!! I wouldn't even have to think about buying that... although my mind is screaming with the thought: What did the poor X-Wing do to you? *lol* Sorry... big X-Wing fan since i saw the movies the first time on telly in 1990.
But as i said: Brillant design, i absolutely LOVE it. :-)

This would be a definite buy if it prints. Outstanding concept and execution.

@FeeJswoot- I'd considered making the Falcon black to more closely match the ps3 remote, but it worked better in gray. And the design isn't really an indictment against any console or an endorsement of another, although there are some humorous parallels that could be drawn.

@mimms1701d- Glad you like it! If I'm not mistaken, the Wii hasn't done quite as well as the PS3 or the x-box, hence the x-wing up in flames.
