It is equally important to know when to hold 'em.

Re: Know When to Fold
very nice work i am impressed
very nice, i think i would have liked it without the background 'border' though. still very cool, trying to figure out how you made it ")
Re: Know When to Fold
Great design, I would definitely buy
Ohh poker shirts get me every time... I love it!
Re: Know When to Fold
The background design is gorgeous. Very nicely done!
this better win, Definitely a shirt I'd like to wear

nice, this one is my favorite
Re: Know When to Fold
Beefcoat, I won't buy this shirt -- but I would buy decks of cards.
Re: Know When to Fold
i dunno man...suited connectors?
A very nice shirt, and I think the background border adds a lot. Not sure how I feel about browns on Navy, however...
Re: Know When to Fold
QOTSA anyone?
Re: Know When to Fold
I'm new to all this but was wondering something...it seems alot of the designs are different size dimensions on the shirts. Isn't there a size restriction? There doesn't seem to be.
Re: Know When to Fold
I suck at poker, maybe I should get this shirt. Nice design.
caspianta wrote:i dunno man...suited connectors?
It's not Hold 'Em, It's draw... you're already holding 5 cards... and they're bad. It's a fold to any bet.

Maximum 16in width by 20in height. Placement can be centered, centered on chest, top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left. No printing above the collar. About an inch of clearance on each side left, right, and bottom for the design to be within printable area.

Re: Know When to Fold
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I really enjoyed doing this design. I just thought it would be funny to have a shirt with a very ornate design and lousy cards!
GMV. Come on people, you know you want one.
Beefcoat- Happy to see your first entry doing so well! I love the addition of the background detail. Adds nice depth. Good luck! You're hanging right in there!
Re: Know When to Fold
back in the fog and making a pretty nice run at votes!
Re: Know When to Fold
good deal

Not necessarily. Could be a hi/lo split. In that case 87 is not a horrendous hand. Best (or is it worst?) low hand would be 75.
In the right situations, this IS a betting hand!
Hope it does well, for the F-I-L and poker nights.
Re: Know When to Fold
I like this, I think it's probably the first time I've liked the swirly background decorations on a shirt too. It seems to fit the concept and really push the style. This is your first entry? Amazing.
Re: Know When to Fold
I LOVE the design work on this shirt, but I'm not sold on the idea behind it. It's a bad hand of cards. So what? Am I missing the point?

come on....we all wubble math, right?
female wrote:I LOVE the design work on this shirt, but I'm not sold on the idea behind it. It's a bad hand of cards. So what? Am I missing the point?
Thanks for the LOVE. The idea is that, because it is a horrible hand, there is very little doubt that the one holding the hand should fold. When we are given a bad hand in life, sometimes we need to throw in our cards and wait for the next deal. You have to know how to fold. However you also need to know when to take the cards you have and hold them with all you can! That is my attempt at being profound.
Great Design, horrible hand, got my vote and a buy if it wins.
Re: Know When to Fold
I adore this shirt, although, as someone else mentioned, there is a definite possibility for suited connectors there.

IT IS NOT TEXAS HOLD 'EM!!!!!!!!!!!!
brizz wrote:IT IS NOT TEXAS HOLD 'EM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just out of curiosity, has the artist stated that? Even in five card draw, I would stay in, keeping the suited connectors and switching out the other three. And there are other variations of poker in which I believe this hand would not be a total loss. No need to yell.

well, next time a casino deals you five cards in texas hold 'em, let us now.
as for draw, please invite me to your next game. If you stay in with soooooted connectors, i'm sure it will be a fun evening for me!

That is true.
Sure. But be warned, I've got a mean poker face. And I never lie or bluff.

Know When to Fold
very cool design
got my vote
Patchitect wrote:celebrity poker has ruined bacarrat and draw for the rest of the world
Draw was ruined by the fact that it's a crappy game; I'd buy this shirt if it was just a 2-7 off suit.
icenined wrote:...I'd buy this shirt if it was just a 2-7 off suit.
Ditto!
Ha ha! Not just "3's & 7's" though, although they are in there.
