Re: L'ego
That is great and I hope you don't rejected.
Now you just need a hard hat to sell along with it to complete the outfit!
Rejected because: This is really too bad...I love this shirt too, but Lego has a copyright on the minifig. My guess is there isn't enough here for parody. Damn.

Re: L'ego
Is Lego a trademarked image? I hope not because I genuinely like this idea. Great job!
Re: L'ego
Man, I love both of your designs. You've got my vote for both. hope they get into the fog.
Re: L'ego
Pretty awesome shirt. But not a chance in hell Lego would ever let this get printed. They wittle schnookie-pies bricks when they are called "Legos" instead of "Lego Bricks"....
Re: L'ego
Awesome! I hope this wins.

Yes, but it's a question of parody. From the infos at the bottom of Lego's website: LEGO, the LEGO logo, DUPLO, BIONICLE, MINDSTORMS, the BELVILLE, CLIKITS, KNIGHTS’ KINGDOM and EXO-FORCE logos, the Brick and Knob configurations and the Minifigure are trademarks of the LEGO Group.

I have some questions about how this is a parody, though. You can already buy minifig costumes (they're in the store on the Lego site), so the fact that your face is above the minifig body doesn't really strike me as a parody so much as a slight twist on something you can already buy from the Lego site.

Oh I didn't say it was parody. I'm saying it's *not* a question of whether the minifig is copyrighted. I'm not familiar with what exactly is needed to create a parody so I can't say for sure. Lego has been around for a while and I'm sure they know what a lawsuit is. Since it's in the fog I'm sure Woot will take the time to figure out if it's parody or lawsuit. ^_~
