This is wonderful, Boots! I love the colors you've chosen. Also, things with big heads and things with tiny heads is always an amusing concept! +1!

Re: City Crocodile

I really love this image! Very creative and overall I love the style. I think it could use a little more pop with the color work, but that's just added fluff. I love this, you've got +1 here!

otterific? i did NOT type that. i meant a-w-e-s-o-m-e. somehow shirtwoot decided to change my adjective into some weird word i would never use.

There's something very beautiful and haunting about this. I really like it, however, the shirt's color on my screen doesn't look like a Woot approved color. Can you clarify?

colinm09 wrote:This is a rather boring adaptation of Emily Dckinson's (apparently her name is filtered...?) "Because I Could Not Stop for Death" or Shakespeare's 73rd Sonnet...or any other work of literature which uses the seasons as a metaphor for life (zomg it's so deep). Not very original and not very well executed, really.

Well, the fact that you are even able to compare this shirt to Emily homeskizzleinson and Shakespeare proves that the idea is good.

How would a baby tiger coming out of a pumpkin fit into a more meaningful category like that?

It wouldn't. And so the next time I see another vote for a cat using a photo copier to physically duplicate itself while wearing a cutesy smile as if to say, "Oopsy daisy, hehe, I'm so adorablez!!!!!!!!," I'll just assume you voted for it, 'cause you truly, of everyone, know how to appreciate works that are "well executed." Really.

Re: Cranky Crab with Coffee (on Brown)

Ok well sorry to those who preferred the brown, but since it still hasn't caught up to the other design and the 24 hours is almost up which allows me to delete it, I'm going to delete this in a few minutes.
Please vote for the heather gray version if you like the design! Thanks

also, maybe something else besides a cat next week?

Because it is adorable and horrible! adorrible?

And Diana's done tons of things that are not kitties, her latest shirt to print was a shark, and before that a fox. Heck the last two submissions I recall from here were random falling objects, none of them a cat! and giant tasty things the week before.

The shadowing on the chicken taco doesn't match the bushes and I can't see how that B A chicken taco will fit in that itty bitty box but I still want one!
Especially if it is a Free Range Chicken Taco!

I'd say that their music style is quite comparable to some of my own. Less of an influence and more of an agreement as I heard of these guys after developing my own style. If only I could finish my music as fast as these designs. If the time I spend perfecting a song was the length of feature film, my digital art would be that of a sneeze. In any case, it did help keep me in the right mood while working on this.

Thank you for your comment, and yes, Woot likes to mess with you. Common words are filtered for their own amusement. Always PREVIEW your message to make sure they don't get you again :P

You should have added a small amount of glow to one of the carrots and this would have probably been fine.

There's nothing about this design that would not make it akin to the other designer you're talking about. It's blatant favoritism. Not that I'm at all sad about seeing this gone.

I'm no artist myself but why are the pig and cow shaded with different techniques? Was it on purpose? What was the reason behind it? OR was copy and paste in illustrator that much easier?

Re: Cat Burglar

Well, this is my first derby entry. I drew the picture using Paint, lol... but then I realized how cheap it looked and I tried really hard to fix it on Photoshop, which I have never used before. I know it's not up to par with any of the other entries, but I'd appreciate some feedback anyhow
