On one hand, the old woot-off numbers don't apply anymore. On the other hand, being it's a woot-off today, when the shirts go on sale, there will be some high numbers put up for this week.

It's as if these Woot-offs happen every month or something semi regular like that.....weird.

Ro-Boss is a beautiful, eerie shirt. Too bad it's not "cute" or pop-culture related. It deserves a higher position and a lot more notice.

I agree. I got mine yesterday and it turned out great. One my favorite shirts in a long time.

Then again, most of the shirts I buy are reckoned in their first week.

I'm surprised Cheddar Power didn't debut higher with its sales numbers, especially considering it had fewer days to generate them than the others. My understanding of shirt ranking is obviously flawed.

Still gonna be an interesting week I think.

I find that there isn't always a rhyme or reason for a shirt's popularity (sales), even if a shirt is cute or pop culture related.

But that's just it ... everyone's taste is different. What one calls artistic, another calls psychedelic. What one calls great, another calls Sirius GPP. What one calls a clever interpretation, another calls pandering-to-the-lowest-common-denominator.

As long as the variety still exists, there will be winners and losers for every category. Some of my favorite Woot shirts didn't make it past a week in the reckoning either, but that doesn't make it any less of a great shirt either.

AFAIK, they still do. Using those numbers from the last time was the only way I could make sense of If I Only Had a Brain's positioning for #200.

I think the sells for the 12 dollar reckoning sell don't count to the reckoning position but anytime there's a woot off the shirts on the reckoning get a boost in sells that do count, the 15.00 dollars sales, due to the upsurge in traffic on woot.

This recent sales lower numbers didn't seem to hit just Cheese, all the shirts seemed to sell less over all.

Sales during the hour-long sale don't count toward reckoning standings. It was said in an e-mail I got from Joel or Barbara or someone important when I had a shirt on the reckoning, back when they started doing this hour-sale thing. I think there were some posts about it too during that time.

Plus, you can tell because the shirts don't change positions on the chart during that hour. ;)

Of course. that essentially eliminates any chance of nailing down an exact DSR too. I suppose someone could infer one by subtracting the time and quantities and calculate a figure around it; I'm not going to even attempt such a thing, though.

I went to buy the one the said Books, no electricty required last night, went to check out and it was showing the Ring bearer in my cart... Was a bit ticked of as I wanted that shirt, can't find it now.

So it looks like 2 cheeses will survive this week with some mustard to go with it and milk to wash it down. Now what we could really use is some bread to tie it together....
