i had my first experience with seeing a woot shirt in the wild the other day. I was on a bus in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, and I saw a guy walking past the bus stop wearing "Galaxy." I got all excited, but then I realized the bus was pulling away and I didn't get a chance to yell anything out the window. Rats!

It was the only time I've seen a woot shirt on a stranger.

At work yesterday passed a girl in the hall wearing "I Like Them on the Grill". I didn't work up the nerve to say anything though. I was wearing Sun Wukong, The Monkey King at the time, but she didn't notice. I was disappointed.

Maybe she just didn't work up the nerve to say anything to you, either.

I found out about Woot because of a Woot shirt. Last Fall, a veryyoung18yearold coworker was wearing a cool octopus shirt, when I asked him where he found it he told me about Woot.
Since that time I haven't seen anyone else wearing a Woot shirt that I know of, since I'm fairly new I haven't seen ALL of the past designs.
However, one day on my way out of the post office I saw a guy on his way in to the post office carrying a smallish box that had Woot on it. Don't know if he was returning something (I can't imagine!) or sending the box on to someone else. I didn't say anything because where I live when a girl talks to a guy he thinks she is hitting on him ~~rolling my eyes face here~~

Let it be known that I live in one of the country's most boring cities*, so things got somewhat exciting when I saw someone** wearing Tgentry's at the golf range.

*Most boring cities in America by Forbes.com. Feel free to check if you live in one of them because now you are obligated to pop open a bottle of wine or your favorite 40oz at anytime of your choosing. If you're a minor, charades is fun too.

**That someone was actually my friend, so it was just a matter of time before I saw him wear it. It was just surprising seeing someone other than myself wear a woot shirt . I didn't really recognize at first because of its Hugh Jazz design.

On 6/20 I saw Fact vs. Fiction while at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. I was wearing Angry Day at the time. I might have seen Pterodactyl With A Machine Gun too, but I only saw the edge of the shirt.

I appear to be melting.

Spotted today at work. One awesome looking Spawn of the Black Lagoon

Me: Nice woot shirt.
Him: Thanks.

He didn't say anything about my shirt today, Branch Manager but hey, that makes the 4th woot in the wild I've seen so far.

The best part, was all the nice older ladies sitting around me wanted to know what the woot shirt thing was about, so I explained and wrote down the url.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.

these nice old ladies have a surprisingly wicked sense of humor and kids/grandkids. Plus they were excited that the shirts are $10.

Of course I didn't have the heart to tell them we see far fewer branch managers these days, but we can hope. They've had positive comments on all my woot shirts i've worn so far.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.

Guy sitting behind me at Penn & Teller Tahoe show last night had "Monkey King" on...I had the 1982 pixelated Michael Jackson T on...I was super excited since it was my first woot sighting in the wild but he didn't seem too excited. O well. At least me and my woot t made it on stage for the opening trick tho...

I was in Colonial Williamsburg, VA and saw someone wearing "I'm Sorry" while I was wearing "Nevermore", I then had to explain to my friends who were with me all about the site

I'm embarrassed to say this because it involves admitting that I am 27 years old and was watching a kids show, but I haven't seen this posted by anyone else yet. Anyway, I saw an episode of iCarly on Nickelodeon recently, and one of the characters was wearing Madness of Miss Stereo. I was like "woot shirt!!!" and my little brother was confused. This is my first attempt to post a photo so I apologize in advance if I screw up... I'm kind of internet-stupid. But it's in the episode titled "iTake on Dingo" and is clearly seen in the scene starting 8:50 into the episode.

Yes, clearly I have screwed up. Will try to fix and edit the post. I am terrible at this type of thing.

edit: success!

I had a shirt sighting at a garage sale yesterday. A neighbor was selling the "Fivebucks/Starbucks" shirt at a garage sale for a buck.
I was delighted to be able to score the shirt since I missed it the first time.

I had my first in the wild sighting! It was in the Cici's pizza in Christiansburg, VA. A guy was wearing The Last Day. I didn't say anything though (but I did keep looking at him... lol) next time! I also wasn't wearing so he couldn't spot me, cause we went bluberry picking in the morning and I needed a very light weight shirt to wear out in the hot hot sun.

had my 3rd ever shirt.woot sighting tonight at Summerfest in Milwaukee.

"Console General" I believe is the name. I was pretty drunk but I got out the whole "boss shirt" thing. Not as entertaining as I'd thought it would be.

Either way, gotta love shirt sighting.

I've been spotted a few times.

First was while wearing Donut Panic!. One of my managers happens to be a wooter and asked me if I got it from shirt.woot.

Second time was when I was in BestBuy (more specifically at the geeksquad counter making use of my warranty) and I was wearing Almost Human. The dude who was helping me mentioned that it looked like something his brother would get from shirt.woot, I said something along the lines of, "Yup! That's actually where I got it from".

Alas, I've made no sightings though despite the fact that I work in a Nashville tourist hub. :[

Saw Woot shirts yesterday for the first time outside of school. I saw Nanobots and Scurvy on a couple walking towards the farmer's market in Salt Lake City. I was in my car, leaving so I didn't say anything but I had Needed on.

I wouldn't call it a spotting some much but my other guitarist wears his Woot Shirts almost as much as me (I got him hooked on the site). I normally wear them when we play a show, and I do get awesome comments asking about it, but I haven't seen a stranger wearing one yet . For recent "Press Shots" I wore Pandora's Box. Those who notice it and know it will think its nifty, those who don't probably won't even be able to tell what it is, hoho.

I'm watching I survived a Japanese game show on tv. The guy named Bobaloo was wearing Love Of Money.

I didn't make the sighting... but apparently, a coworker of mine on another shift wore Fat Unicorn to work the day before I told everyone I was going to wear my awesome new favorite shirt from woot to work. Fat Unicorn. /sigh

My moment of having adoring fans/coworkers fawn over my awesome taste in t-shirts was tragically ruined.

Though the aforementioned guilty party was later given a talking to about how t-shirts are inappropriate work attire cus the Company VP was visiting that day. And yet I wear my woot shirts to work on the regular because I work the night shift, bwahahhahaah!

2 sightings when I was at the Basilica block party in Minneapolis: First was a dude sporting Bacon Bits on the parking ramp, and the second was a guy wearing Electronica. I wasn't wearing a Woot shirt and both times we were heading in opposite directions so I didn't talk to them.
