Re: Overindulgence
This is pretty cool mang, much better than anything in the fog right now imo. This is actually pretty funny! Made me chuckle a bit at least :P
RadicalPrefect wrote:Very nice. I love the color choices, and I'll always fall for any bunny-themed shirts. You've definitely got my vote.
Thanks Radical! Hmmm where were you for all my past bunny themed designs?;) Glad you like the color choices!

Paradox55 wrote:The pig roasting on the spit...wish the legs looked more like a pig's!
His legs are my favorite part!
Great imagination. This is way too twisted for me, but I give you props for an interesting idea.
Great, just a little bit too obscure
windsong137 wrote:I have no idea how this has anything to do with BBQing. O_o
The lightning's about to hit the kid, which will cook him, and then the monster's going to eat him.
achariam wrote:When you put it that way...but seriously how much more outdoors can you get than outer space? and besides who says our interplanetary barbecue is not nourishing and fun for the aliens surely biding their time in some nearby galaxy waiting for us to be well done. Sometimes I let my imagination get the best of me =)
~pffft~ Everyone knows aliens eat our brains after Hulu turns them into soup...

Yeah, I guess it is a little sad... and I'm going to be a vet lol Thanks for the feedback!
JadenKale wrote:ROFLMFAO I have a better idea, how about they just bring back that marshmallow shirt from last summer instead?
I agree. I sat on the fence way too long and missed that one. Stoopid me.
Re: Three Little Roasts [resub]
Looks fantastic sir. The pigs expressions are my favorite park.
re: mongolianbbq
Truly an awesome design, but as someone who's spent almost a year in Mongolia, I couldn't resist a bit of a history lesson. Mongolia is famous for its horses, eagles, and camels. Dragons are prevalent to Chinese and Japanese culture. Chinggis Khaan's soldiers are supposed to have used their shields or swords to cook meat over open fires, and Mongolian BBQ is not Mongolian at all, but supposedly originated in Taiwan! Believe me, there are not many veggies native to Mongolia...too short a growing season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_variations_of_barbecue#Mongolia

Wow.
Re: ghost story
This is epic. I want this shirt. Sanders with his drumstick was a nice touch. Epic I say.
Re: Mongolian BBQ
ok, so, gmv, but if it don't win, u should definitely sell this to a Mongolian grill restaurant or somethin, iunno, i'd like to see that on a light up sign.
Re: Summer Time...at the beach.
Really great stuff sir. The illustration is terrific. This is one of those I could look at for awhile.
Re: Dragon Scouts
I love the baby dragons sir.
Re: The Cap'n had an old friend over for dinner(resub)
GMV with text. Not without it. I like how with the text I wouldn't have to explain it to people. Without it people would be all like "OMGWTFBBQ WHY DO YOU HATE WHALES?!"
Re: Pre-cooked Meal For One
Your work is mind blowing sir. I'm truly in awe of the level of precision and detail on this one. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks a woot barbecue might be a little unworthy of a piece like this, but thanks for submitting it anyways.
eks0153 wrote:I like it, but I also think it maybe should have ended at the center figure because a lot of people don't understand the soylent green part. But keep up the great work Cho!
My man - it's a good opportunity to show how knowledgeable you are of pop culture. They can be like -- "guy01: What the hell is on the end of that shirt" "you: oh.. you don't know?" "you: **chuckle, i can't believe you don't know what that is" "guy01: **at this point, feels pretty stupid" "guy01: oh.. no I guess I don't.." "you: soylent green dawg you never seen that movie?" At this point, if there are any ladies around the area, they will take notice - You will get their numbers and you'll already have a conservation piece ready to go. The next day, the people at your office will probably ask you for your opinion on movies, you might get a raise from your boss, and then buy 2 porsches and a house with a grotto. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Re: Chicken versus Beef
It's an epic battle of the meats, who will win it all?

Thanks for the comments and votes : )
Re: Flipper
3 things, Griggitee: 1. Loved this SO much more over at Shirtfight this last week. 2. Just having the porpoise and grill leaves me wanting more. Surely you could do something with a moderately sized halftone mix to get more colors in there. 3. Creme with no background = not a winner. Black with no substantial background (like you have on your portfolio page) = not bad, though I don't care for random splatter either.... HOWEVER, having it for sale at MySoti does not bode well for this. I foresee a rejection from woot.
auggie24 wrote:I agree. I sat on the fence way too long and missed that one. Stoopid me.
My mallows are always ready for a print, should woot decide to bring them back in a limited edition print. ;)
Re: BearBQ
bears! all over this one
Radscoolian wrote: Paradox55: Thanks man. I didn't submit anything last week though.
Skipped a derby! Was referring to the fantastic Rhino design. Which I still want.
Re: Exceptionally Rare
I like the style you did the steaks in. They're very cute.
I think I may even like this one better.
Re: Charcoal Spa
I love the book.
databit wrote:Godzilla is kinda the center piece
I know! This is why I didn't suggest it in the first place.
Re: Roasted Snacks and Scares
This is great, Jewel. Probably one of my favorites from you.
This is really well done.
Re: Some BBQ
When I first saw this, I thought the cow had a worried look on his face like they were firing up the grill for him. But, then I saw the spiderweb and it all came together. I always like your designs because the illustration is top notch of course, but your thinking process is fantastic!
so the wolf is like 'i want to kill this pig and eat it' and the pig is like 'what is the best move to make'? just to be clear, am i getting the concept?
this is just, just awful. i can barely tell what's going on in the picture. i had to read the comments just to know it was green eggs and ham. this will get printed, no doubt about it. but sadly it's because of who the 'artist' is, and not because of the amazing artwork. a shame.
Re: U.S. Steak
There's a book by this name... with this on the front... but i wouldn't call this plagiarism... merely a nod to the idea.
you know what i miss? shirts with dragons on them. thank you for finally drawing one! and so original too! good job!
