References aside, that actually looks pretty cool.

Some crazy texturing going on in this design. It's pretty sweet that such intricacy is possible with screenprinting these days.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why asphalt colored tees were invented.

That's the craziest boom box/satellite I've ever seen.

I like that it seems to have a face... or maybe I'm just seeing things.

It doesn't matter. If we can get Philip J. Fry, these spacey invaders don't stand a chance. Unless, of course, this one's the last...

I can feel the grittiness in my teeth!

Lose the negative filter and we've got ourselves a classic.

this is a clear sign of inflation. A bit is 12 &1/2 cents & this is a character from an 8 bit game so shouldn't this only cost a buck?

Sparrowhawk69 is in therapy for seeing bunnies everywhere & is currently a member of R.A.B.B.I.T. : "RamyB All Bunnies Because I'm Trippin" anonymous.

Looks like the TRON movie spaceships (the ones with the legs), but with accessories

i'm having flashbacks to the best of 2011 shirt-off. Hasn't the Space Invaders thing been done...and done...and done? Great shirt! Wonderfully done...but..er...eh...something new. Maybe cute pandas!

This makes two shirts in a row i've acquired with Space Invaders on it.

I would like to see a shirt made for each Space Invader ship/alien. Very cool indeed.

This design sort of has a steampunk style to it.

Okay I recovered, and now I'm wondering where his buddies are? Or, is it up to us wearing the shirts to gather together to form the invading armada? But that would mean that we are the invaders...so, we were the ones invading earth the whole time! Oh no, my mind esplode again!

OOO this shirt looks cool and just became my first Woot purchase. Kept waiting for one that I liked. I would never want to wear the Meh shirt in public and I could not stand the tiger.
But this shirt I could proudly wear.

Next one more than like will be "They call me .....Tim"

I'm holding out for a Galaga shirt.

Imposter Pete was Unprepared for the Almost Human Nightmare Cuckoo Clock. The Walrus and Eggmen were the Height of Envy at the Monkey Bar. See the DJ spinning records on a Flora Phonograph while simultaneously playing Rock, Paper, Scissorhold.

Without even recognizing what it was, in for one. I would much rather buy a design like this than a pikachu or a dancing carrot or any of the hundreds of cutie designs that predominate here.

That spacecraft may be all tricked out, but it's still no match for my shoot-through-the-barricade-to-make-my-own-little-shield technique.

We are the collective. You will be assimilated. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

How else to explain yet another tired reference to a really old video game? in a daily?

Crap! Just finished playing Mass Effect and staring at Reapers. Even though this is clearly Space Invaders (which can only chip pixels off your shields, not destroy the universe), I'm still completely freaked out.

Curse you, vaguely-related references!

In the original space invaders game each invader was a 2 frame animation made up of of 40 pixels or so. SOO this is how the artist imagines they look "close up".

I saw robot boom box and tron flyer when I first saw it.

I like it, but I hesitate because it has been done. Yet this may be far enough from the "whacky" space invader shirts that have been done and done. The asfalt shirt may put me over the edge tho...

I like the bases killed icons on the front, that's a great subtle touch.

The image is rather complex, requiring more than a casual glance for some to understand the meaning. The inverted colors obfuscate the image to the point that I think it would confuse an even greater number of people, making an explanation of the shirt a requirement. I definitely prefer the shirt--and might have purchased it--without the inverted colors.
