I hope this doesn't discourage woot from more sales like this, though

Well, they probably are not planning on running them full-time. Special events is about all we can expect for now.

Look at Nevermore's numbers. In the two weeks the HGG was up, the long-sleeve sold 270 and the zip-up hoodie sold 527. This week so far, the short sleeve sold 282; it sold 237 last week.

As for that milestone ... whether you like it or not, THREE continuous years of Ramy having at least one shirt (or collaborated shirt) in the reckoning at any given moment. And this is the shirt that started it all.

Congratulations!

I liked that shirt, too, and regret not having purchased it. One of my favorites, and actually, one of Ramyb's best! He does very well when he depicts something that is not a cute animal!

That's what I was thinking of, since Minor Mods came dangerously close to being reckoned that week. Impressive, at any rate.

Looks like Cheese is finally escaping the testing facility. If I didn't already own several copies, I'd buy another. I was wondering, though... it's been mentioned before that Cheese was one of the fastest-selling shirts on Woot. Looking at the list of top sellers, it certainly is the youngest (at 33 weeks) of the top 10. Is this pretty much the proof in the pudding that it claims the crown of fastest selling shirt (for now)?

Well, it's more proof. I'm mostly going by the 3k sellout in 97 minutes ... and then the subsequent pages of whining about not being able to buy. Day 2 sold another 2482 - more than that day's daily. And we know what the return rate is now (roughly 1 out of 8) on those who face the 'sold out' sign, so you can imagine how many sales it could've done if there was no cap.

In its second week, it cleared 10,000.

The 7-weeks in #1 is not a record, though - that one is held by the Binge - 10 weeks consecutive, 16 weeks total.

... and here's a rare (these days) Monday morning snapshot. You folks tracking how the sales will be in the next 75 minutes, have at it! ^_^

It's very notable that all 27 shirts cleared at least 100 sales this week.

Awww, goodbye little Portaling mouse! I hope you finally find where you were wanting to go! Thank you to everyone for your amazing support for Cheese. I dont think I'll ever have that kind of shirt experience again here. It was like a cotton miracle wrapped in rainbows. Thank you, Woot!

Well, I guess the portal mouse is done with the science. So I feel that this song should get a little play time today.

Monday means murder, in the realm of the t-shirt. Monday means Reckonings, and we've just had ourselves a mighty one. Only two noobs got the axe, which means five longstanding pillars of the Shirt.Woot community have been thrown out on their collars. Head on over to the Reckoning, pay your respects, and pick one up. Today's your last chance to buy:

Another milestone of sorts...and a testament to how brutal last week's shirts were to the reckoning.

This week, The Binge finished at #9. That's it's lowest place an any ranking (of course I can only check the finishing positions, not the mid-week).

My THIRD copy of QTOE didn't push it back into the top 20, but it had a geekishly long run. Congrats to the new top 20 for ousting some long running shirts!

I'm sad the long sleeve shirts did not sell better. Living in an area with actual Winter, the t-shirts are not as helpful during that part of the year.

Awww. Makes me tear up a li'l bit. Little mouse, you'll always be one of my favorite Woot shirts. Judging by sales numbers, you're on the favorite list of many others, too. As Cave Johnson would say, "I punch those numbers into my calculator and it makes a happy face."

For those wondering how many more it would've taken for a few of the shirts to clear the line ...

- The Cheese is a Liederkranz needed 88 more sales.
- Breakfast of Plumbers needed 29.
- Questionable Table of Elements needed 5.

This is based on Epic Fail having sold 819 since the baseline figures 4 weeks ago.

I'm new and have no idea how this works! But I really wanted to buy the questionable table of elements shirt. Am I too late? Is there no way to purchase one for my daughter?

I'm sorry, but that shirt has been reckoned. You'll have to try for: checking periodically at teetrade.org, buying shirts during Random Shirt sales, and/or periodically checking through sales/trading threads within shirt.woot forums. Patience is definitely going to be required. Good luck!
