Re: As Different as Night and Day

Each time I look at this I see another layer of depth in the design. Excellent work!

[I'm a newbie, so don't take me too seriously.]

Super cute turtles. I really like the concept on the different in perspective. I think it would play really well as a wall print or on some other rectangular surface.

I think that the way the dirt "boxes" the design reduces its viability for t-shirt composition. I personally don't care for shirts that have a square or rectangular feel to the design - I'm not really sure why.
As a female, I also look at the placement of the images as they would fall on the body, and might hesitate as a potential purchaser on account of the placement of the "flying" turtle.

Welcome back to the derby! I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Cute!
I would not want to wear it though because of the placement of the two grey trikes.

I hope it does. The design is awesome, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

You might want to reread your contract/terms & conditions when you submitted the design ...

"Please note that by sending the Artwork to Woot for consideration, you agree to allow us to review it exclusively for a period of 60 days, and you agree not to submit it to anyone else to be used in any manner, or to use it yourself in any manner."

The quality of your drawing is superb.
It always disheartens me when great art like yours doesn't even make it to the final contenders (especially over pop culture references).
Please keep entering derbies!

This needs to go on sale somehow. My only slight beef is that it might be better without the title on it. Otherwise just brilliant!

WOW!!! Jack O. Lantern has the scary storyteller facial expression down perfectly. The story indeed must be frightening for it looks like Brock Lee is about to make like a leaf (break away, depart)! Campfire perfection. I hope it makes it to print in time for summer camp.

Lompoc, pronounced correctly as Lompoke. When you hear it on tv said as Lompock, proof they're NOT residents of the area.

Re: Disturbing

So, confused again. I'm trying to buy this shirt, but does Derby mean it will only be made into a shirt if it finishes among the Derby leaders?

I know, I know, there are probably directions i could read somewhere. But then I'd be that guy that reads directions.

Oh, so maybe that's a good guy to be, hadn't looked at it that way.
