Great illustration but i really don't like how it's just flipped over on the bottom.

Thanks to those in the pre-derby thread.

Re: summer symmetry

VERY wearable. Looks great on white. I'm sure the haters will bash the t-shirt color choice, but I think it looks crisp and makes the design pop! I hope I get the chance to buy one!

Not a shirt I'd care to wear down the pub, due to the v-sign - but it's certainly ingenious.

Ecellent work as usual.

As a side note, in the thumbnail it sort of looks like they are standing in front of a naked mannequin. Kind of cracked me up.

Re: One's own Company

Does anyone have lovebirds? They're always together and singing to each other...my grandma's lovebird is alone but he sings to his mirror. Bird is freaking nuts. I bet he hits on himself too.

Re: Duality

Aha, I was trying to think of a clever way to do that (I love doing the whole angels n demons upside down thing) but unfortunately I'm not sure you've really got it. It's difficult to make out (mainly the 'o') and gray on black doesn't do justice to the coolness of the design

Re: Two-ransformer

It looks like some kind of alien language, but it's not, I swear.

Ok, so I'm an Arabic Linguist, and as we all know (hopefully!) the number system that we use today are taken from Arabic numerals and this was the key factor in the advancement of math sciences as it replaced the cumbersome Roman numerals back in the day. So my idea here was to show the transformation of the original Arabic number 2 (top most shape, which most people would describe as a backwards 7) into the number 2 we know (and love) today at the bottom.

Now, if you tilt your head to the left, and if you know how to read (a very obtuse and stylized) Arabic, the extra markings added to it spell "Ithnayn" which is how you say "two" in Arabic. Magic!

Re: Depending on your taste, this design can be interpreted in several different ways. If your a romantic
it could symbolize 2 love birds finally realizing that the writing is on the wall. They need to be together forever. For another group it could represent 2 birds stumped at the size of bird that must of left a dropping of this size, that just happened to land in the shape of a deuce. For the younger crowd this design could answer the question, how many birds are represented here? Whatever your interpretation is, I have it on good authority that it was Timmy from 2nd street marking his territory. Graffiti or Deuce?
