Are these supposed to be three different ninjas, or more like a three-panel story of one ninja texting in the dark? Either way, like this concept. I'm not sure I'm sold on the execution, though...

Re: Forget Chopsticks...

It's cool...but I don't understand the reference to Japan other than the fact that the spork is apparently the new chopstick.

Classical Japanese motifs and symbols against black in red, gold, gray, and white. Enjoy and thanks for looking.

According to Japanese legend, instead of a man in the moon, there is a rabbit on the moon who pounds mochi.

Thanks guys. The design is suppose to be logo esque, so that element serves as a backdrop to compliment the colors of the Kanji text on the bottom.

Re: The Samurai and the Sea Dragon

It would have been better if it read something like "Fortitude" or "Thou shall not pass", "My perogative" instead of just the obvious. Just a suggestion. great looking drawing!!

Re: Kokoro

The basic idea is to have the 'Kokoro' kanji right on top of the person's heart. Kokoro can mean heart, soul, mind, intelligence, center and core, thus the idea here was to have the rising sun as if emanating from within.

Re: The Samurai and the Sea Dragon

First asphalt design I've voted for in awhile; this really seems to work with the shirt color. Love the illo. I agree that the text could've been a little more imaginative, but since only one person I know will have a hope of reading it anyway, it's not a dealbreaker for me by any means.

haha, funny you mentioned that...I thought the same thing but decided to leave it like that.

The characters say Nihon (Japan)

Re: Mister Roboto

I know I'm gonna get tied to a pole and beaten to death with this pop culture reference but hey, better to try than not...try. Yeah.
Essentially, it is a robot, a mister robot saying "You are welcome.". All those people saying "Domo Arigato Mr.Roboto" and there never was an answer for Mr. Roboto, which seems rude.
