Just to be clear, there can be text in your work, right? I have very small amount of text but it is vital to understanding the context of the picture.
Here is my entry. Time Travel does exist but you can only go backward. Any ideas?

The answer is yes! But you can't just choose a fancy font and say you're done.

And this is where I stop reading.
Somebody do something like the Mount Rushmore presidents being rounded up for sculpture referencing. And sneak a mountain goat into the background. Cuz that'd be the best.
writermist wrote:So glad they banned Doctor Who. It's been overdone. Now should i do something with dinos or cats? LOL
Dr Who overdone? Not compared to all these cat shirts. Please god ban cats for at least one derby.

This is pretty rad... I was going to redo my hourglass pyramid shirt from a few derbies back but I think yours does it better... oh well. ;) Very cool man! I'd buy it.
I think your hourglass is better off without the falling camel, only because it doesn't really look like it's falling. It looks like it was standing and then got rotated, and is now dealing with the deluge of sand pretty darn well.

It's hit or miss really. Wish Travis was on for the yay or nay as that usually saves some time. Personally I think it's far enough from the original.
I got more greenbacks than the land of the lost got sleestaks
Alright.. I'm torn. Should I go with the brighter yellow symbols, or the darker ones? I feel that the brighter ones take away from the flow of the design. I almost feel they need to be an afterthought. What do you guys/gals think?

wiggity what? Thiggy that's criggidy crazy.

The darker ones are liable to be squint-inducing, although part of that has to do with viewing it on a screen. I think they're more integral to your design than you're thinking, though. Without them, it's just a curious looking clock.

comment thingy on the derby is broken.

Broken? It doesn't exist. Are they trying to tell us something?

Thanks lotsofgoats - went with the lighter version. And it's a pendulum... with a weird clock in it

Perhaps...
And I had so many good things to say...damn!
I can't seem to comment on entries. The button isn't there.

ROFL
What qualifies as "No Text Only Tees?" There are a couple entries (two in the fog at the moment) that essentially have only text. New guy just trying to figure things out on the site.

I've got the Dev guys looking into it, hopefully they'll have them back up soon.

Essentially is key there.
Love it, would really appreciate this on a shirt that isn't gray though

And we're back! Thanks!
You forgot to ban Terminator references! (Seriously, I think I speak for all of us, when I say that we have had enough of them. Especially if Bill & Ted is considered too 'mainstream')
I'm hoping for a good Calvin and Hobbes reference.
no one has done an UNDO button?!
In the rules you plainly state that there are no Dr. Who refrences and no Text Only designs but two of the top voted break those rules the Mulligans shirt is text only and the obvious Dr. Who refrence (stolen from another shirt and called a parody from Community) both break these rules, if you arent going to enforce them for everyone why have them
