Re: The Tea Drinkers
This is a very cool idea and execution, but I think the lighting should have been closer to the original - especially the lamp itself has lost a lot of its original appeal. Still awesome, though!
Re: Vincent Van Owl
I hope I get to buy this one. GL!
Re: Gogh Ninja Gogh Ninja Gogh
GREAT GAME THO!! ;=)

Thank you. You are absolutely right. I will keep that in mind for the next one.

Thanks! ME TOO! (heh- been a one-hit wonder for too long) I'm actually pleasantly surprised my little one-horned owl is doing so well beside such steep competition.

I sure hope you are right. This is simply wonderful.
Re: Gogh'gle it!
Silly fun. Not sure I'd wear it, but it made me chuckle.
Re: Fiery Night
Nice. Quite nice, indeed.

Re: The Starry Night on the Bald Mountain
Wow this is rad!
So I was researching this Van Gogh person, and apparently he did more than paint a starry night and cut off his ear! Here's one thing:
thanks all for the kind words

This is the first time in a while that I've had time to submit shirts. So I'm goin crazy with it.

For those who do not know the reference.
Re: Van(ksy) Gogh's Sunflowers
Oh! I didn't know, I'll look for it. :D
I personally much prefer the Threadless one (which I assume is yours -- same name and all that)-- http://www.threadless.com/impressionism/technicity-lights/ -- but this version is nice, too.
What if they both get printed? They're both really cool
I didn't know the reference, but the artwork is beautiful.
I picture Van Gogh waking up from this dream in a cold sweat. Cool image.
(btw, it's a little blurry in my browser because it's 580x580, it should be 602x602)
Very nice work. It's hard to draw a scarecrow that doesn't look like it'll eat you in your sleep, but this one has a sense of joy about it. +1
Gotta have it! My son is thinking of getting a bald mountain devil tattoo. He would love this. Hope it prints

Thanks, my goal was something with a hint of the otherworldly, but without any terror. To make it feel like it might come alive, but probably wouldn't- in your words- eat you in your sleep.

EwingKlipspringer wrote:(Yes! That's part of the joke! Free shirt for Goldenthorne! Obviously, it won't be this design, but help yourself to a free copy of somebody's shirt...)
Sigh, upon rereading your initial post, I see it now. My only excuse is alcohol. *hangs head in hungover shame*
Re: Things will get better...
The more I look at this guy, the more I am terrified of the ear growing off of his back- sorry I posted it guys. ha!
Re: Gogh Fish

I love both this design and the fact that you made a fantasia shirt. Bravo!

Thanks so much guys! I'm glad this has taken off! That's so cool about Rice- I would love to have a tiny community of shirt wearers in Texas! If you want to see it made, tell your friends!
Vincent is off the chain and turned bounty painter!
"You know what a bounty painter is, boy?"
"You paint people and they pay you for it."

caspertheghost wrote:Hello, I was just wondering why this was rejected for future references. Why Woot can't run this?
SO WAS I!!!! I don't understand it at all (that's not unusual) but could it be that it's too close to the original Totoro? Would appreciate ANY input, because I really WANTED this to be a shirt so I could buy it!
Love it! Voted! GL!
