I really like the use of negative space on this. It's got well defined borders without being blocky. GMV
Re: Revenge of the Demon Monkey
Close on the color now, but does the text print or no? The thumbnail should show what you intend to be on the shirt.
The text does not print that is why the mock is there to show what it would look like on a t shirt.
You're so good at this game... great design.
Re: Your Wallet Sir...
This is awesome! +1 Great illustration and great concept.
Re: Monsters are Real
Thanks everyone for your nice comments! It looks like this one isn't going to make it either, but I really had a lot of fun drawing it!

You're still my art hero Omar! heh
Oh Omar, don't count it out yet. This is one of my faves of the derby. Nice work as always.
Re: Temple Run Escape!
I hope you enjoy my derby entry, this design was much more complex than I anticipated. I am pleased with the result though, its a new twist on much of the game art. Black and yellow always a good color combo in my opinion.
Also, I need to get some new shirt images, it looks sorta grey, but the design is on a yellow shirt. Thanks!
Congrats on an incredible illustration... even if you don't win, I think this is the best one!
ImangiStudios wrote:Thanks for submitting this idea to the Derby! I did want to let you know that unfortunately we are not allowed to include merchandise with the Brave or Oz imagery on it. We wanted to give you fair warning before the derby was over.
Thanks, i guess i have to enter with another idea to avoid similar idea.
Nice design but the runner looks too in control. Maybe arms flailing, dirt flying and jumping. It's temple run not temple stroll

Thanks guys! I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. I had considered doing a creepier design since those monkeys ARE TERRIFYING but I figured the target audience for this shirt would need something a little lighter and more fun- Glad I went with my gut.
Re: Aaack Monkeys!
For what it's worth, this design works well on brown, black and gray too.
Thanks a lot for you support guys, it really means a lot to me!
Cute in its own way
Ya puedo comprarla en línea?

I wish I could vote for myself.
Re: Fortune & Glory
I see what you did there, it says FOG on the left side ;)
Yey! Meepee you are back!!!
blk909 wrote:I didn't notice a back of design option for this derby, did you?
There is almost always a back of shirt design option.
