Yes I'm so glad you realized it!
I've learnt a little more of U.S. history after doing this design.
Uh, Delaware was the First State!!!

That is Delaware in the first spot
Re: Visit Maine
vote for an obscure reference!
You're right, I thought that thirteen colonies were considered in the Union at the same time. I'll send the fixed file
Re: Ohio's Hero
Superman is from Kansas...
Re: Peaceful State of Mind
SEEMS LIKE I DIMLY RECALL THIS DESIGN BEFORE VIETNAM. LIKED IT THEN AND NOW!
I need this shirt!
Hey, thanks so much!
This seemed like an appealing concept but it turned out to be pretty challenging.
I drew quite a detailed eagle as a template before thinking about state placement and once I started laying them down it quickly became apparent that it was going to look almost like abstract art up close. Very glad that people can see the eagle at a distance and dig the finished shirt!

Re: The Beverage War Between the States
OK should be included in the POP states IMO
I had the same idea, but I love the way you executed it!
Re: American Fantasy
Really fun design!
oakenspirit wrote:Ha! I was working on something much like this- Mine says "MY STATE MASCOTS - WIN THE GAME" but I wasn't happy with it- I tend to overdo it- Yours is much more focused-
Great minds, lol! :D
I Love it!!! Nice work.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS! (but now I want donuts)
Re: Some things are still legal
Thanks so much everyone- I am overwhelmed by all of your kind words- I am so happy you like this idea so much!
Here is the proper soundtrack to listen to while viewing this map- ;)

I hear ya man- I originally had a bunch of additional landmarks- Niagara Falls (The Edge of the World), The Vegas Pyramid (the Sky Ramp), The Washington Monument (The Monolith), AREA 51!!! - but trimmed it because it was too crowded/small... I kept the most iconic (that weren't bunched up) and made them larger-
Mayhaps I'll make a more detailed/expansive poster-edition later on- hehe
Thanks again guys!
Re: Divided We Fall
Really love this look! Glad you are putting out designs man- Good to see you back at it!

Thanks! It's a new year and all.
Re: Divided We Fall navy
A message of solidarity in the face of seemingly irreconcilable partisan differences.
I wasn't happy with the contrast and legibility of the other version. I like this one a lot better.
Nicely done! I really like the font you used, too. Fonts can make or ruin a design...and the one you used is making it great!
Re: Colorado Puffs
This is great, hope it survives.
Re: Visit Georgia
Re: The Somewhat United States of America
i love Minnesota! I think Wisconsin should be red however

Thanks, I had a lot of fun just hand-drawing all the text! Glad to hear it was worth it.
Oh My Gosh!! I must have this shirt! This is awesome.
Re: Declaration Of Independence
I think the concept is a good one - if someone could sort out the pesky details. I'd love to get a final version of this.

Hopefully you will get the chance to purchase it...

I must admit that I didn't get Cape Canaveral at all. (I wondered what was "cosmic" about the Tallahassee capitol tower, and why you didn't call it, I dunno, Wang of the Colossus or something.) There's just something phallic about Florida.
I grew up in Florida and didn't know about Bok Tower or get Kennedy Space Center. I grew up in Tallahassee and to me it looked like the new Capital Building with the Old Capital Building in front of it.
Love this one! Goodluck
Re: Here There Be Monsters
This is great! Nice work
Very cool concept and execution!
Thanks Tater !!!
Slightly altered the Cosmic Tower for the print ready- hopefully now it is slightly more recognizable but still TOWER-LIKE... ;)

Nice map !
Thanks! Don't worry, I had to do some research to get the areas right. I didn't do it all from memory.
