I've got one in the fog and my 25-year-old son has one in the fog.

I'm not sure how you come up with four.

Wait, why did this get rejected?

The reason ("Looks like we can't run this") is what they say when there's some sort of copyright issue. I would guess that it's either that Initech is a copyrighted fictional name, or that the Initech logo is the issue.

I hope you are able to run this in some form somewhere, it is a great design

I absolutely love this design! The use of colour is gorgeous, and every detail is so well done! It's amazing what ASCII art can do when one really tries with it - And you've clearly put a severe amount of work into this. That and a Monty Python reference as well thought out as this is definitely worth getting. Good luck and I really hope this prints!

I think what's happened is that numchux9000 has mistakenly believed that the two entries in the fog by tbolt86 ("The Life of Pi (to 4,325 digits)" and "The Hamnet Code") were your designs - based on how numchux9000 posted in both those entries saying "nice work, Chris!" Only to get a response along the lines of "...but I'm not Chris... O_o "

Thanks! I was glad the process I ended up using worked at getting bolder colors (even though I was up till 2 or 3 a.m. finishing it). I read Hitchhiker's Guide almost 30 years ago, and it's been one of my favorites ever since

Ah yes, now I see that. Thanks - it was a little confusing, but I get it now.

If it's "too close" to the original, Woot will tend to err on the side of caution and reject it. In this case, the 1-up mushroom is similar in shape and design to Nintendo's version.

The rejectionator still tends to be fickle, however, and does miss things from time to time too (think WootBot levels of reliability). And while there have been other "unfair rejections", I still can't get over the reason for rejecting this entry a couple years ago.

This is a great design, but I wish it had more contrast, as I had trouble seeing it easily.

Good start! If you have to modify it to meet color standards, please also show it on a shirt.

The rejector seems particularly arbitrary this week. Tons of designs with no shirt comp and a few with copyrighted graphics, but they're still in it. My guess is they're only hitting entries that they wanna reject when it looks like they have a shot of winning (case in point).

Yes, I'd much prefer either of your robots to the whovian takeover we've got going on. Though my current collection of shirt.woot robot shirts may point to a slight bias in that regard...
