:-) Well my favorite joke is Isaac Newton as the Mad Hatter. Newton became *ahem* somewhat eccentric later in life, likely because of working with mercury. Hatters were called mad because they also worked with mercury and got a little addled. Marie Curie discovered the element Radium, coined the term radioactive (her cookies on the table form the "radioactive" symbol) and made many advances in chemistry and physics. She has half a cup of tea in reference to half-life radioactive decay. The two-headed dog is referencing a real life experiment by a mad scientist named Demikhovs (Don't look it up, its just sad.) The Cheshire cat is in a box because, well, Shrodinger. Nikola Tesla is just in there working with electricity and making a tempest in a teapot.

It has a handful of weird that smudges an otherwise thoughtful and well-crafted movie. I really enjoyed it, and hope it gets the typical Ridley Scott director's cut treatment later on. I do love the original alien leagues above anything else that has hatched from that franchise though, so I may be a different audience than most.

Sorry to hijack your thread with nonsense- I really dig your design and voted for it, as I meant to imply above.

Re: Boy Genius

I am truly surprised at the lax rejectionator this time. Not that this isn't a well done design, I'd want one because I loved the show, I just figured that a dead on likeness would get the big red stamp. We are entering an era of a kinder, gentler rejectionator. Huzzah.

Coming from a person who bought a box of x-small purple exam gloves so her kids could play warehouse and made a mini Farnsworth toy/cake topper, I would buy multiples if this printed. Love it!

I love this concept, but I'd gladly trade Sheldon (from Big Bang Theory) for Dr. Bunson Honeydew or Prof. Farnsworth any day.
