You should make "guilt trip" the main slogan.

You may want a shirt like this, but woot sells kid's shirts too. This could get rejected for content.

Re: Traveling the Verse

Really nice work. I don't like how "the verse" looks. I think it grabs too much attention right away. I'd prefer a larger, less bold and more of a handwritten font and hanging down below the rest of the graphics more. But great concept, I'd still buy this.

I actually thought about that when making it, but I figured that just because Woot makes kid's shirts doesn't mean there'd be many parents dumb enough to actually buy this as a kid's shirt.

Besides, it's not exactly burning up the derby, is it?

Can't agree with you enough. Rather sit with a book than with a screen that gives me a headache. Let's hear it for books!

Last minute inspiration. Thanks for looking.

Might as well have a signature now since I have something to put into it.

amroyo wrote:This is great. However, as an Upstate New Yorker I shake my fist a little at pizza for New York. New York City? Yes. But, there's so much more to the state than the city. We have apples! And cows! And mountains! and...Buffalo wings!

I agree with this in principle. However, I realize that my home state of Illinois, if it were not saying pizza because of Chicago, would be yet another member of the corn contingent. So I count my blessings.

Re: The Cynic Route

Rather attractive, doing the Bates Motel neon sign without it being blaringly obvious, all in-your-face! and whatnot. The use of the word 'cynic' is, as others have said, quite nice. I /think/ 'cynical' applied to Norman, just a bit.. :]

Thanks for all the comments, i really appreciate it.

I did use bates motel's sign as reference but i didnt intend to make a pop reference out of it. And it is the one from the movie and not the show :p

There's an actual town called Boring, Oregon. I wonder if you could have found similarly names real cities for the other states...

I had been excited for that show, but it has been a let-down. For me, at least. So awesome the ref you used was the movie~ Anyways, an obvious +1 here!

Very nice. I rarely comment to many of the excellent designers, but this is a study in simplicity and cohesive elements. Votes or not I would be proud to produce a such an excellent design.
