Nice job. I think this works really well with "fraternity" spelled out. As a chemical engineer, I love this.

I think I ate this for years. Good memories, since they're far enough in the rear view mirror.

EwingKlipspringer wrote:Another great entry! I'm just sad I missed out on Geek Pride back when I was in school...

And you win the award for first entry, too. And that's not easy to do. I sneezed while submitting, so 25 designs got in ahead of me...

agreed on the great entry.
Is it really better to be the first one to submit, sometimes, if I'm busy early in the week, I go from newest to oldest by date, rather than oldest to newest and miss out on some of the first entries and whichever way I go I always make it through at least 30 designs

I honestly don't know. I only started following and participating in the last 3 derbies but when I saw like 20 entries go up immediately, I decided to try for one of the first spots. I really don't think it matters but I do think it helps to enter on Friday (or Saturday) cause you do have a longer time to collect votes. I suppose if the design is good enough and/or you already have a loyal following, you can win no matter when you enter.

Anyway, thank you!

Re: Aiming for Excellence

Awesome design! Into reading a lot of the SW books, so this would be a shirt I'd snap up quick.

AND it has the benefit of perhaps later being offered in GITD ink, Woot? Puhleese???

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I tried some of the effects on the text itself, but the design felt clustered, that's why I decided to go with plain white and some coloring on the phrase "Ninja College".

And thanks for the nice comment buddy! You are on fire this week, two designs in the Fog and one very close!
