Thanks for the encouragement. The design does look squashed and too big. I have not bought a Pantone color swatch book yet.

By the way, when can we use typography in a contest? I saw a quote from Sir Robin that was artistic typography and I would like to do some of that.

Typically, you can do typography as art in ANY derby unless the rules specify "no text allowed" - so check back again on Thursday afternoon at 1PM EST when the new theme is announced.
