Derby #15: Time Travel Souvenirs

When somebody finally figures out the whole time-travel thing and offers mass tourism to different eras, there'll be a lot of money to be made from the accoutrements of tourism. And anybody who's ever taken a trip anywhere can attest that t-shirts are the most omnipresent such accoutrement. Why not get a jump now on creating the time-travel souvenirs of tomorrow - and yesterday? Create a souvenir t-shirt from the past or future. And keep in mind that in the future, you'll probably be able to go to space. But we're imposing two restrictions on you this week: one, no designs involving the phrase "and all I got was this lousy" or something similar; and two, stay far, far away from copyrighted images, concepts, etc. Otherwise, past and future are your playground.

Where's the link to disco's puffaluff page? Has he filled in the back story on these things explaining why something so fuzzy and cute is so dangerous?

If you put a puffaluff in the microwave does it blow up like peeps?

I really have no idea what's wrong with the file. Even now as I open and close it, the file loads properly about 40% of the time, and butchers the design the other 60%.

I'm glad you were able to get them a new file...it would have been tragic to lose such a great design. It was one of my favorites.

Thought process behind it was:

Scurvy is a disease that people contract due to lack of vitamin C. The disease was most prevalent during the golden age of sea piracy and old arctic exploration, because citrus fruits weren't widely available on the ships. So... The idea is to have an orange (cute fruit, vitamin C related), dressed in a pirate outfit (thus relating to the scurvy pirates), and topping it off with text. Kind of like those motivational posters that they have for kids so they eat properly, except for pirates...
