I'd need to see a picture of someone wearing it before I decide. We have til monday, right?

Ah, back in my spot... fifth.
This is my legacy. Out of the fog and into fifth in the last stretch of the derby.

Feels like home.

Thanks to anybody who voted USA 2145. It was fun while it lasted. Again.

We've all been derby-jacked....now there are only two shirts in the fog worthy of its misty-ness. what a shame!

The Memorial Library is in the fog!

Damien, sorry about your loss of fog (for the moment anyway). I truly expected the "If you can read this" to be the lowest vote-getter of the four.

All right, Wooters, let's push W's Library past the text-only warning of our certain demise. Isn't a George W. Bush Memorial Library proof of the apocalypse anyway???

I want to congradulate Pensketch on finaly getting a derby placing. I have always been a fan of your art, and I am glad your winning design has a skull in it even if it isn't a zombie.

I'll try to get my daughter to pose this evening. Its her birthday today- she just turned twelve. I'd rather people bought it before Monday, on the off chance it could get unreckoned by then. I'm guessing right now it'll be about5th from the bottom, assuming the two long timers Jason said are likely to get reckoned actually do have lower numbers.

Right, am I using the image in a way that conveys a sponsorship or aproval by the Government of the United States? No, I am obviously using it in satire. I took that wiki article in account when I designed this shirt.

I say we vote it in and see what happens. As I have said before, this is one of the best entries in the derby as far as theme.

Arrgh! Don't jinx me! ;) It's not over yet... I was shocked to see Damien's design drop out of the fog. I was certain he was at least in second place. And James Cho is steadily eating up the distance to the fog. Plus it seems like the "End of Days" design has constantly been in the hotness... I'm going away for the next hour. But if I do manage to place, thanks!

I just hope the GWB library, the Mongol Hordes, and the Tea Party can all stay comfortably in front of Apocalypse-Wise for the finals, since they all have designs to go with their text. Though there would be a certain sense of satisfaction to read the comment thread on the latter... you get what you ask for, and all.

It's a coloring book library, I think it conveys a wonderfully sarchastic parody of gov't sponsorship. I wouldn't buy one for me (or vote for it for that matter) but if it places I'll be awfully tempted to get it for one of my bush hating liberal pals.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.

I really wish Dino Time Machine got more votes. I would buy that one in a second

That and the coloring book one is neat, but I have this weird mental block where I read it as if you get a free "World's Largest Collection of Coloring Books" and not the "Free World's" largest collection.

Until you typed that out, I hadn't realized it wasn't the World's Largest Collection of Free Coloring Books. L OL, guess the human brain doesn't like that title.

Derby #16: Information Graphics

There's no process, idea, or fact that can't be reduced to a colorfully stylized image. Cutaways, flow charts, schematic diagrams, graphs - all of these pictures are worth a thousand factoids. Where would USA Today be without those little infographics in the lower left corner, to say nothing of The Onion? We want you to enlighten and dazzle (enlizzle?) us with an infographic of your own devising.

This one's gonna be tough!
