I've got two other knotwork snowflakes that I could possibly put on with this one in a sort of swirly, blown-all-over pattern?

Sorry for the double post, but Sam, that's pretty! I won't wear a white shirt, but it wouldn't go on anything else, so I understand the choice. Still...pretty!

I really like it but I think I'd prefer a less jaggy tree. Also, maybe do something with the bottom so it doesn't end so abruptly.

I agree, it's less cool without the text. It's still nice, but it loses a lot of its impact.

it could still... if you put some semblance of a sun rise behind a cloudy sky... or a street lamp that is on, yet faded out by the blizzard....

Yeah, but there are ways to communicate the 8am idea without text- the silhouette of a man with a briefcase in front of or near the car would fit the bill. Maybe he's even glancing at his watch.

True. I just really liked that text and the way it fit into the shirt. Though there are other ways of communicating the same information, I thought the text, for once, was one of the better ones.

I'd have to see the detail on the branches.. it looks a little too pixelated to me.. if you're going for the rough, over photocopied scratchy look for it.. then go all the way with it.. and rough up the cardinal too.. Either that or vectorize the whole thing and smooth it out.. but right now its neither here nor there, IMHO Inbetween just doesnt do it for me..

I think the text works splendidly too but alas, it would get summarily axed so I might as well try and salvage the work I have done so far. My fault for not reading the rules before getting to work!

I'm working on my entry but it's killing me... I keep having problems with my sketch vs the graphic design. *Grrr* so frustrating.

If it makes you feel better, I had a pretty awesome bunny, with a full background and border, on my scrap paper for the foreign service test. Of course the government won't let you take your scrap paper out of the room...he was cute, too...
