Jaden- Super cute entry! Reminds me of something you might see on a Charlie Brown Christmas. Has a sweet yesteryear feel to it.

Mr. 289. Gorgeous tree image. A nice, calm serenity about the piece. The white is nice....the cream may have worked nicely too.

edit: Fable- Just saw your newest one. Great...kind of scary! Does the bear have a tattoo?

Thanks! Yes, has a tattoo... tattoo-ed fur. This was on it's way to be CGd but I figured what the hell, might as well make it a shirt. I'd wear it. I predict 20 votes for this one. T-T

It's not something I'd wear but the artwork was too nice not to vote for.

If you mean 20 votes in the next 30 minutes, then you are right! I think this will do very well.

Are you surprised that there's so much optimism in the winter derby? Looks like most people are treating winter as a nice, beautiful thing. There are only a handful of entries whose design highlights a darker side of winter.

@ kls - CG = computer graphics, but sometimes it means to color something digitally. In this case paint it digitally. ...and actually I means 20 votes in the whole thing, cause it's not typical derby stuff. XD

L ol!!! Personally, I dislike winter very much. It always seems dark to me. Not surprised at all by the light entries though. Most media depictions of winter are of light snowy landscapes and snow days. I think of freezing my ass off while walking to class.

duh! I should have known CG! It just didn't hit me in the context of the sentence. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the votes on this one.

I know what you mean about the 'negative' side of winter. I think about being snowed in, slipping on the ice, driving on black ice, HUGE heating bills, bad hair days, raking leaves, shoveling snow, dark muddy snow .... these make me dream of spring after the first day of snow...or being back in SoCal!
