It felt daring, because it was all done backwards, with plastic covering the front side; I didn't know how it would look until it was completed. (talking about going blind.)
And then I pulled the plastic off of Kiari (the bottom one) and I was so amazed at how she turned out. I just had to stand and soak it in.

And someone needs to make a decent version of this and submit it, just to see what it does (Cause again, I suck):

I think one problem, Cho submits more then one, and they compete with eachother...

just a theory. I guess great art doesnt equal great shirt, for the majority of the masses.
He needs to sell large prints.

While I appreciate the nod and the enthusiasm, I have to disagree with the "only real decent" part. This is a fantastic derby with a lot of great entries. I'm proud to have the 20+ that I do now with all the competition out there. And for my first derby entry at that!

ah. lake effect snow. The reason why milwaukee, chicago, toledo, cleveland and buffalo all get buried in winter. When I lived in Madison we would sometimes get hit too. I remember a record 16" in 24 hrs, where I had to go out twice to work job shifts (I was a home health aide so we couldn't abandon some of our sicker clients that day).

Derby voting is a weird beast, so I can't say I'm surprised or disappointed. I'll keep submitting designs, and maybe one of these derbies I'll get something to stick in the fog 'till the end.

I actually voted for a lot of the other designs you listed, and I'm sure we're not the only people who would like to see them doing better. Perhaps some of them will pull ahead -- it's certainly still early in the derby.

Thanks for the nod! That's encouraging. Have to admit, I'm a little disappointed in the lack of love. Not that I expected to place (the top designs are awesome, props to the designers) But a sensitive guy like myself has needs to. *sigh*

It's funny... the less time I spend on an entry the more I like it.



and it was easier than I thought to make a snowflake... and it was bunches of fun.
