Shirt.Woot

Saw Galaxy at the SLO Farmer's Market last Thursday evening.

I just saw the same guy (at least I think it was the same guy) at the same place, but this time he was wearing The Binge. Didn't talk to him though .... seemed like he was in an in depth conversation with his friends about iPhones.

i enjoy the fact that i get comments on my woot shirts, and no one else around has any. i know others that follow the site but never buy...what a waste.

One of my customers at SGF today was wearing The Epic Begins.

I saw a bunch of woot shirts at the Evolution conference this past weekend in Portland. They were mostly the kinds I would have expected out of up and coming or current scientists. I saw "How Natural Selection Works" a few times which didn't surprise me, but I did see one "Imposter" which disappointed me a little. I always thought biologists had more taste.

First woot sighting... Well where I said something.

I know the proper line is "Boss shirt, boss" but with the panic of the moment (one can never fully prepare for a Woot sighting) , plus she was pretty cute, AND I almost ran into her I managed:

"Hey! Woot shirt!"

The rest of the short conversation was:

"Yeah, is yours?"
"Yeah!"
"Awesome"

She was wearing "Killer Bees!" I was wearing "Say no to Scurvey"

NEXT TIME... It'll be "Boss shirt, Boss"

Well, just as long as it's not worn by an attractive female I've almost just run down.

I sometimes work as a cashier and one time there was a customer wearing a simple tree shirt. I said, "oh, I like your shirt". And then he said "oh, I got it from the same place you got yours" (I was wearing a woot! Shirt, of course)

I didn't recognize the shirt he was wearing, so it was probably an oldie (well...then again, I haven't been at woot! That long, so....). But I really did like his shirt. The style is way more different than it is nowadays.

Other than that customer, I've had a couple of other customers recognize my shirts =)

I actually saw the ' Race for a Cure' shirt on flickaday ( a webpage where you take a photo of yourself a day, every day. The latest twenty or so are randomly scrolled )

I got a couple comments on Angry Day but it was people asking where I got it. Haven't seen any others yet, but then I live in a rural area where internet access isn't very high on anyone's priority list.

Saw a fellow riding a bike through Philly the other night wearing Flying.

I also happened to be wearing Flying.

I see people wearing woot shirts all the time! I always love when I am wearing one as well because it feels like we are both members of some secret club or something :D. Haha.

Saw a dude wearing Leafflower yesterday at the grocery store.

He noticed my Cthulhu BBQ shirt first

I was at Tommy's on Coventry, and I saw a a guy wearing 'The Epic Begins'. Freak out time.

Some guy recognized 'Think of the Children' at a large flea market in New York last weekend. Made me feel warm and fuzzy....or maybe that was the fleas.

we get the star in our sunday paper and in the back they have pictures of people from various events around town and some guy was wearing a woot shirt. which one? don't remember now

Jimmy John's in Portland. I was wearing my NERD shirt and some guy was wearing the old school gray shirt with the small orange octopi being chased by scuba divers with nets, who in turn are being chased by a giant orange octopus holding nets in it's tentacles. It was an unspoken bond of neurotically checking woot at 10pm Pacific time every night in case a sweet shirt comes up and you don't want to wait until morning to see it "SOLD OUT".

....and yes, I moved from Central time to Pacific time just so that I could see woot shirts earlier...

Saw "How About Joint Custody" walking into a Starbucks near the University of Washington. Was about to stop him but he turned away.

I saw a guy wearing School coming out of the bathroom at a Weird Al concert, but I did not have time to say anything to him.

Saw someone wearing Bearly Significant on the Upper East Side last night, but unfortunately he was on the opposite side of the street from me. Otherwise I would have attempted a "Boss shirt, boss!"

I attended a meeting at the LGBT Centre last night, and met a guy wearing "Hospitality". (I had on "Honey, Wait ...") I broke from my usual habit and actually commented, and a brief Woot-related chat followed (during which is was agreed upon by all present that Chris Ware's "Onward Robots" is a fantastic shirt.)

Haven't seen this mentioned, but if you look at pics from The Guild's Season 4 wrap party, someone's wearing a 'Villainous Victorian Velociraptor.'

I keep seeing a cute girl around town in a couple of Woot shirts. One is How Rainbows are Made, and I can't remember the other one offhand.

Saw the same guy again, but this time he wasn't wearing a woot shirt... but his friend who he sits with was wearing the one where the tin man is punching C3P0. I think this proves that they are real wooters (The Binge and Procrastinate didn't really prove that...)

No, I didn't mean that The Binge isn't quality! I like it alot and I think it is very creative! I realize that it must have sounded like I implied that it is not a "real" woot shirt (or something like that), but I didn't mean it that way.

It does however happen to be the highest sold woot shirt ever, so I would expect that alot of non-regular wooters have bought it, or have been given it as a present, and don't actually know anything about less well known or older shirts.

It's ok, hence the smiley face I've learned to take a few knocks since joining the derbies. On that note, this is kinda late cause it happened back in March, but I was at the Academy of Science at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and bumped into a guy wearing the Blues Clues shirt that won second place with the Binge. Had a nice little conversation then I interrogated him as to why he hadn't bought the Binge yet

While getting pizza with friends this evening in Providence, I saw a guy wearing "Honey, Wait!" I didn't say anything because I was chatting with my friends and he was talking to a girl and no opportunity presented itself.

But if you see this post, I was the guy wearing "Rain Dance".

Last week I was picking someone up at the Milwaukee Airport and happened to spot Tastes Like Excel coming out of baggage claim. I slowed down and snapped a cameraphone pic as best I could. It's not the best pic - but I swear it was there!

I was in london last week and I saw someone wearing It Came Out Of Nowhere before I had time to collect myself and compliment the shirt she had crossed the street and walked out of my life forever.

A little late to the party, but I saw more Woot shirts than I could count at CONvergence in Minneapolis over the 4th of July weekend. I felt less unique as a result.

I saw Hey, wait up... You are my Best Friend on a cute waitress at Tupelo in Asheville the other day. I pointed her out to my girlfriend, who I bought that shirt for.



I was probably wearing a Woot! shirt myself, but I don't remember which one. Something on the order of 90% of my shirts are from from Woot! so they bleed together in my mind.

I have yet to see a Woot shirt on a stranger, but my friend and I check the site daily and I am hopeful to see him in his birthday present I gavee him (aka: "Mr. Lincoln") what a B.A. shirt by the way...Well done, Alex!

I'm up near Williamsport a lot, and I'm almost always wearing a Woot shirt. It surprises me that I live so close to all these colleges and haven't had one sighting yet. :-/

Was at Connecticut Free Shakespeare at Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, CT seeing Twelfth Night on Saturday. My hubby and I were both wearing the same great shirt, SEEDUVPAIN's Shakespeare A-Z. Another girl was, too and spotted us. One of the 'Servant' actresses working the gate also recognized it as a woot shirt and said she had a different woot shirt on before changing into her costume. Here's a pic of the girl and me. I think she was mortified that we took the pic. WOOT!

My family lives in Northumberland, and my husband and I wear woot shirts whenever we visit there, too. Someday, central PA will have a sighting!

I wore the "Knock Knock" one into the Ross in Carmichael, CA. No sooner had I walked in, then the cashier shouts, "THAT'S A WOOT SHIRT! I LOVE THAT ONE!!!!"

I was in Wisconsin Dells this past weekend for my anniversary and I spotted Hospitality as my boyfriend and I were eating lunch. I was wearing Squeeze but I didn't feel like running out of the sandwich hut to hunt the wooter down. Plus, I was enjoying a ridiculously tasty sandwich at the time.

walking back from the A-train on 181st St. in NY i saw Night Owl and last week i saw deadfrog's Lion, witch, and wardrobe shirt
