American Apparel shirts fit pretty snug in the ladies sizes. If she's a ladies large in most shirts, go with the WXL on Woot. (Some people have also commented that they buy a man's Medium if they want it a little more boxy.)

I love Jimi's artistry, but i just can't bring myself to buy a pirate shirt. especially a pirate shirt on heather gray. which makes me sad

I agree with you to some extent. Normally..I don't buy skull shirts or pirate shirts. But, given the artistry involved, I felt compelled to buy. It really is nice work and well worth the $10.00 price tag.

edit: The swallows are a great touch, but wasn't there a parrot in an earlier sketch?
