NO, I specifically stated that it did NOT show gluttony. That saying relates to hunger, not gluttony. People don't look at a gourmet meal and say, I'm so hungry I could eat a horse. They only say that when they are really, really hungry. A gourmand would eat as much as a horse just to eat, just because they could, not because they were "so hungry I could eat a horse". Consequently, I think the design is off topic.

The pelican was meant to show gluttony- no way he can eat that, but he wanted it anyway.

I took the advice of those that posted on this design earlier and worked on the background, which was black and a little to rectangular -- at least in the shirt comp -- for those that spoke up. Thanks for the comments -- I agree it works better as a shirt now.

So does anyone have a vote for a dragon?

Interesting design, but I don't see how it implies greed specifically. I think it is more easily interpreted as a statement about America as an international aggressor. I would kind of argue that it's off topic.

Is the brown background around the dragon supposed to be different from the colour of the shirt? Because I can see the difference, but it's so slight that it seems to me that the intention was to let the shirt show through.

Still a wonderful image. I tried to do a dragon last night. Not skilled enough.

okay, I know everyone dislikes memes, but the truth is some things are popular because they look good on T-shirts. Monkeys fall in that category. This is my idea of a really cute T-shirt.

Thanks! As far as the "background" brown goes, it's supposed to be close to the shirt color -- just enough to keep the dragon in place.

Definitely GMV, though I would have preferred the colours to be brighter - especially on the diamond. But I guess that woudln't have been conducive to the macabre feel you're going for?
