JadenKale wrote:Thank you jzelts! I appreciate the compliment about my past work as well as on my dragon! (I have 2 more coming this week) I really do like this piece and since you actually elaborated further about it being a 'harmless greed' of sorts, I believe I will indeed vote for it.

Great job again, jzelts

Aw, thanks, Jaden!

Not named after the movie. JUst thought the name fit since it was red...and bleeding...

I love the colors and the style of the shadowing (as well as no one being able to say this isn't wearable)

It isn't wearable.

Just kidding, but I wanted to show that I could still say it. =)

GMV. My only concern is that it might not be clear that they're removing the alien flag, though I can't think of any way to make it more obvious.

OH - second issue is that the moon landing WAS A HOAX.

;)

Edit - I didn't even realize this was Cho's. Sweet!

Well the movie (which I haven't seen) is named after real life stuff. DARN. In lieu of artistic ability to create the grander ideas I had in mind, I was going to do a blood diamond. Now I can't.

Re: the Ultimate Greed

I am a fan of monotone print, and not a fan of the current administration. The shirt is not for me (just a tad too political) but the design-absent-politics is nicely rendered.

TG, though there are many great designs on here all of the time, I feel like there are few that I would wear as shirts. I love your design and I am a big fan of it as a shirt as well. GMVFS! (for sure)

i guess i dont have to say nicely done, as always, i'm impressed at how your subject captures the theme from some obscure (non-cliche) angle. i could use some of that obviously... any tips?

Re: Big gulp

great design! it reminds me of all the times the sea gulls have taken off with our big bags of chips, sandwiches, etc. Birds might just be more greedy than squirrels. ;)

The thumbnail really doesn't do it justice, though, sadly.

well thanks!
this is my first shirt design i've ever submitted.... i obviously was not aware of my audience. but when I think greed the first thing that comes to mind is politics. I suppose woot shirts tend to favor the animated whimsical sort of designs, nothing too serious. ah, well.

I think you did great, I wouldn't have known to look at it that it's just your first submission. I think with a little more detail on the woman I'd have voted for it - she's just a little bit clip-artish for my taste, but that's just me!
