although gas prices in the US are relatively cheap considering europe and other countries, the oil companies are still reaping record profits while the middle class is being stuck with ever increasing costs from many angles. spin it any way you like, the oil companies are reckless profit mongering pigs that are responsible for much turmoil in the world. also works well from a consumer critique standpoint.

I think this is what it is:

A guy has a small bag of gold and is happy. But then he sees some gold bars and isn't satisfied with the bag of gold anymore. He then has to go through a bunch of obstacles (fire, snake, etc.) to get to the bars of gold.

This is a great design, but I don't think it conveys greed that well. Maybe you should save it for another derby or submit as a daily. Great color combo, though!

Sorry - I was teasing - my submissions have been pretty much stick figures and little better - I must learn more about computer graphics programs (GIMP in particular, which is the one I have - it's free online) - before I can submit anything with any chance of winning.

So believe me, you won't see me do much better until I'm a bit more educated in this form of art.
