Re: Le Petit Diable D'Argent - Playing for Keeps

On the road for a couple of weeks so I may not get a chance to finish my other entry. But, I'll submit the two that were done yesterday. If I can finish the other, I'll try to submit it while we're away.

Here's a cute little money devil....the currency in this case equals marbles and he's out to win 'em all. Dressed in a cute little footed demon PJ outfit with hood, gloves and batwings....he's all the part of "Le Petit Diable D'argent"....the little money devil. Thanks for your vote!

I like the flow of "liquid" from the tip toward the hand. It gives me a sense of liquid gold. The reflective attribute is nicely done.

Reject please. You can't steal the BP logo or an existing image. Search BP on Google images and this image is one of the first results.

The text isn't on the shirt, though. It should be fine.

This looks cool, but I really don't like the message.

I'm a Christmas Unicorn! In a uniform made of gold, with a billy-goat beard, and a sorcerer's shield, and mistletoe on my nose!

Yeah, I don't think so either. If those are gradients, then definitely not...but even so, it looks like too many colors. The text would also cause a rejection.

nyadolla, you might want to simplify the apple, take the text around the barcode off, and try resubmitting.

littlejetties wrote:I love the cocept here, but why does the one for sale look like a T-bone steak?

Ah no. I threw in the for sale sign (though "for sale" is crossed out) to represent that the person already sold their kidney for cash. And t-bone steaks usually are high class meals. So you replace your kidney with a llittle of cash and luxary (thus making the steak look like your second kidney)

Kinda brings a new meaning to "butter finger" eh? (Even though the most golden butter in the world would never be that golden. Still, it's what I see when I look at it. Kinda makes me wonder where that finger is going that it needs to be all greased up like that... ;)

I really love this, but I wonder if it will print ok with all of the thin line weights... I am wrong in thinking shirt.woot has said lines need to be a minimum of 1pt?

Anyway, GMV if they can print it well enough!

Re: You can't take it with you

I like it Asyrith...especially the look of the model and the "matted" design. Only thing I can say is maybe make the actual portrait of the girl larger and the matted borders a little smaller. Great entry.

Thanks! I wish more people loved it . I thought it was going to do a little better than this. Come on people! Where is the love? Or, if you don't like it, then tell me why so I know where to improve next time.

There are 10 types of people: those who know binary, and those who don't.
