Yeah, but I really am kinda embarrassed to use him for 4 derbies in a row. By the way, this might be the highest comment-to-vote ratio ever, by this point.

It's supposed to be on olive. I darkened the color a bit to better represent what the shirt would actually look like, becuase olive is a hell of alot darker than what the template colour will show.

Other colors are Black, Ice, Green & Gold... (Red, Green & Yellow... going with the whole Rasta Man Theme :P)

Really like this- but I am a fan of Gene Kelly, Ben Vereen and Savion Glover, who could all do this Soooooooooooooo well.

Obviously. At least for most of it. Although I suppose it could be a vectorized drawing.

Re: Perpetual Emotion

It's really well drawn, but I could see this as a sticker or poster, not as a shirt.

For whatever reason I think it would look real odd when someone wears it, and I'm speaking as a guy. I can't imagine what it would look like if a big breasted woman had smiling silver orbs hanging off their fun-bags.

Well, I actually can picture that, I think I saw that in the porno when Tinman gets funky with Dorothy.

Anyways, yeah, nice work though.

Re: Taking Flight

This really is an awesome concept. I saw the green one and am intriuged by the idea someone mentioned as having the bird "grow" into a plane, where images grow incrementally.

I also hope people get over the white phobia, this concept belongs on a white shirt, IMO. I will vote for it and buy it if it makes it. Good luck!

The pantomime zeeba is escaping within the crowd as they run from the cheetah. This is a collaboration with my dad, Josephus.

Re: Bowel Movement

Lots of movement. Owner and dog go for a walk. Dog has bowel movement. Dog uses back legs to cover it up. Owner has to bend down to pick it up.

And on a green shirt!

ya, as a girl . . I have tshirt artwork going across my chest all the time. You can't worry about it 24/7 as a designer, otherwise you'll loose a lot of good designs ideas.
I absolutely love the Spring-a-tron . . .does it look like he's grabbing something of mine. . .sorta. Does it stop me from wearing it, NO. It's too good of a shirt to worry about that.

Re: Motion Sickness

Just thinking about the derby theme has gotten this little birdy feeling dazed. 'Dizzy' doesn't even begin to describe how he's feeling - his world is spinning, and he's wobblin' around trying to find some solid ground. That strange cactus juice he drank probably isn't helping either...

I noticed that there seem to be some artifacts in the image after uploading. I'll link to a better image soon. I'm actually on campus right now and I've literally just finished writing a 3 hour exam. In fact, I'm feeling a bit like my birdy here...

sailstud25 wrote:I dig it, but the graph bars are too fat IMHO... looks too much graph and not enough speed lines of motion. Also makes the design too big for me. Perhaps squeeze the design down to more of a strip across the chest with the characters overlapping and the graph bar consists of 3 or 4 lines rather than the solid bar.

Just my analysis and humble opinion. Awesome idea though; the ears/antennae are funny!

Thanks sailstud25, gonna have to mull that one over.

superspryte wrote:You're going to have to adjust your design so it doesn't have gradients. Gradients = insta-rejection. Sorry.

Not so fast there... the derby description makes the no-gradients rule a little bit suspect. The submissions page says that gradients and half-tones are frowned upon "for now". What if "now" has become outdated? What if woot is going to start allowing gradients?

Hmmmm... =P
