I highly doubt he wanted to exploit our emotions, and there is nothing wrong with a shirt winning because of a simple design with a good thought.

This is my tribute to Pink Floyd, which is a tribute to Moms everywhere!

I hope I changed the lyrics enough to call it a 'parody' rather than a 'copyright infringement!'

Heheh. I knew I liked you for some reason, Bluchez. Check out my shirt. I also created one in memory of my mother, who died of breast cancer. I too will be donating the profits from my shirt (if any) to a cancer charity.

Cute shirt! Love the collaboration! (only thing, I thought the dads held the babies while the moms went for food?) Either way, I hope it does well!

Re: Male Seahorse

In the weird world of seahorses the male births the baby. That also happened to the guy on Oprah.

Regardless, this shirt is on navy.

As much as I love the design, this would be more appropriate for a fatherhood theme. XP

OK, I thought it might take a bit more time to catch some hate, but I guess I was wrong. You have no idea how many tears I shed creating this design while thinking of my mom. You are correct, in that there are literally thousands of shirts with a pink ribbon on them, and if woot would like to reject my design, I will not complain at all. I did look through many many many designs, and thought this one was unique and more wearable than most. However, for ME, this design is about my mother and was meant to honor her memory by bringing some extra attention to it. That is my purpose here, not exploiting emotions for the benefit of a charity.

I appreciate that your first post was used in such a meaningful way.

Thank you everyone else for your kind words, and I am very sad to hear that about your mother kls. It takes a lot of strength to fight, and I hope that you and your family can help her provide her with it. I would also like to thank anyone else for nice comments in advance, as I will not likely be reading this thread.

That's because nobody has three giant bear fingers that can't fit more than one at a time in a mug handle.

If you define mother as the birther then this fits fine. Love the tatoo.

I think it crosses the line into motherhood. And remember the directive this week:

"We're looking for everything to do with motherhood, though, so if you're not feeling a Hallmark vibe, there's still lots of territory to cover."
