We buy shirts on woot to buy something that we can't find in other places... which seems pointless here since I could get the gist of this shirt by looking at the back of any SUV. Don't vote just because someone was smart enough to exploit your emotions.
OK, I thought it might take a bit more time to catch some hate, but I guess I was wrong. You have no idea how many tears I shed creating this design while thinking of my mom. You are correct, in that there are literally thousands of shirts with a pink ribbon on them, and if woot would like to reject my design, I will not complain at all. I did look through many many many designs, and thought this one was unique and more wearable than most. However, for ME, this design is about my mother and was meant to honor her memory by bringing some extra attention to it. That is my purpose here, not exploiting emotions for the benefit of a charity.
I appreciate that your first post was used in such a meaningful way.
Thank you everyone else for your kind words, and I am very sad to hear that about your mother kls. It takes a lot of strength to fight, and I hope that you and your family can help her provide her with it. I would also like to thank anyone else for nice comments in advance, as I will not likely be reading this thread.
