what about on good old fashioned white or black? OR even grey. I like this design a lot but wouldn't wear the shirt color!

Take out the other nipple and resub. Maybe that's the offensive part. Give it a shot and see what they say. I so want this shirt.

Hey, thanks for the kind words, everybody. I am pleased that this has been received so well, and particularly because there's no evidence of "pucker" anywhere, this one seems to have at least somemerit on its own. The shirt comp does make the text look small, and I thought on a real-life shirt the letters would be big enough to read when you were talking to someone, and the formation be dramatic enough to get your attention.

After I submitted it, I totally remembered that the bottom words would have been punctuated pretty well with a little kiss there, but now I am afraid to remove it and throw away all the votes, and also I am afraid to do a resubmit that might lessen the overall impression of this entry.

And also, this is a text shirt. Woot pretty much prints pictures on shirts.

DANG IT!!! I wanted this shirt SOOOO bad! I cannot believe it got banned...it makes me sad. I love chuck norris jokes, and I would have stayed up till 12:30 am to get first dibs on this shirt. I would pay you to make me one.

I think, if I can try and imagine what their reasons for rejection were, that the design doesn't seem to clearly say "Hey, this is Mother Nature on a shirt" the way the lady on the goose is clearly Mother Goose. It's really nitpicky of them, though. I guess if you added a planet somewhere it would clearly be "Mother Earth" or if you had, maybe, her doing some mothering actions (feeding a deer with a bottle) then it might pass the rejectionator.

I personally think it was fine the way it was, but I guess I'm not as picky as Woot.

Good comment there. However, this could be written with or without the comma. Google search the phrase and you will find both ways used interchangeably. Typically, no comma is used with an exclamation mark, ie "Thanks Mom!" But this version "Thanks, Mom" is just a shortened version of "Thanks to you, Mom." Without the comma you would have "Thanks to you Mom", a run-on.

Yeah, I think Woot counts anything that indicates nipples as obscene. It might be the nipple shadow that did it, or the baby attached to the other nipple. Woot's just not into nipple "decorations". Heck... they even rejected a hand waving back and forth in the nipple area (back in the motion derby).

I'm assuming nursing itself is not considered obscene by Woot because it looks like at least one other entry here has a woman nursing a baby... It's very subtle, though, and not directly obvious. So they're not trying to say breastfeeding is bad, they just don't want obvious "playing with the girls" on the shirts they sell.

That's how it seems to me, anyway.

cool idea, artulo! Nice use of a red shirt, too.

It's hard to get red shirts to look right in the comp, but yours looks fabulous. simple and fun.

The word "here" in the phrase "(don’t be alarmed if you here some smacking noises; those are the kisses hard at work)" should be HEAR not HERE.
