Re: Chipmunk Army!

It is true! They ate the main wiring harness in my car while I was camping last summer! It cost $1200 to have it towed out and repaired! Effin' chipmunks.

Aw, this was the best one by far.

I don't think it's that mean, it's obviously just a joke.

Re: Need sleep

Forget milk. Got my warm milk. Now need sleep.

This one came about as I was trying to go to bed, yet again. I had been up for more then 27 consecutive hours, most of it on my feet, as I was terribly lost in the same area two days in a row. In costume to boot. So as I'm trying to sleep my ma tells me about the derby and I mumbled. "need sleep, think tomorrow." then we both realized we liked it, and I jotted it down... We all know the feeling though. If you don't... then I envy you!

Re: I Love You

I don't know why this was rejected. ::Sighs:: I've never seen it on any other shirts. I mean, it's not like FY has it copy written. No one can copyright I LOVE YOU. Can they? It wasn't a unique way to phrase it. Just a sweet one. Thats why I mentioned other places I've seen it. If some judge has seen this somewhere on a shirt, pls tell me so I can buy it...

Re: Wi-Fi = Wireless Finternet

This is my first submission to the derby. But I had to jump on this one because I've been looking for a way to make this phrase popular. Even if the shirt doesn't win, maybe more people will say this.

My younger brother once asked me what the Fi in Wi-Fi stood for. After I told him is was basically just another word for signal, he was disappointed.

His response: "Oh. I thought it stood for Finternet."

"Long Live The Finternet" is now a common cry between myself and my computer friends. :D

Re: Color blindness

I'd just like to say, while this is a funny concept, the execution could have been much better. For that reason I'm sort of glad it got rejected.

Have you considered trying something like the Ishihara test dots for this? Could work on a white or black shirt with a background of green-hued dots, the main text in black (or white) dots, and the "w a" in reddish-orange dots. Just my $0.02.

Yeah, I liked the first better too, but what can you do eh? Can't corrupt the minds of our youngins with words like nipple. Nevermind that all the 13 year olds know more swear words than I do nowadays.

Re: UNEDUCATED BULLIES

It's a unique design. Good for purposes of rebellion and anarchy and those types of things, and I agree with you that many tend to be testosterone-loaded, uneducated bullies. But... long experience has told me that the best way to avoid encounters of the very worst kind with bullies in uniform is to slow down, particularly if you're wearing a shirt like this.

This was something I came up with when I was really little. It was my signature file for a while, it's been in my quote book forever. I just.. love it. And I mean it. I'm a bit more realistic now then I was then, but it's still a nice dream. Peace.
