Re: Doppler Blueshift
I love this shirt and can't wait to wear it! I had a hearty chuckle. Also, I actually really like the font chosen for the shirt--I agree, its simple.
Comidor1 wrote:The only problem with this is your ragging on a shirt with over 100 votes, just because you couldn't creat anything as witty.
Not to be a spoil sport, but neither did the Designer.
The oceans are dying. The plankton are already dead. You have got to tell them.
Soylent green is people. PEOPLE!
Re: My voices hear voices.
Very Simple but awesome!
haxrox wrote:The white says "Color blindness FTW!!"
I should mention, since many viewer are not nerds/geeks, that FTW means "For The Win".
definitely not as cool as the other idea.
Re: Reading causes cancer (yellow)
ugh-i hate this derby.
I voted and so did my mom. Great design.
Re: Its a Banana.... and Yes I'm Very Happy to See You
Re: No I in Uncool
hey midnight voters... thanks for your already stellar support!
I love the lettering :-)
samwaltzjunk wrote:Cute shirt. Too bad about the spelling of "villain"
Crud! Sorry I'll fix that tomorrow morning... I'm dislexic and a horrible speller.

Is it that common? I didn't know.
Also didn't know it was from the Simpson's. D'oh!
Note to HAXROX,
YOU I am an un-original person!
Signed all the colorblind people that are able to see the text, you WAFFLES! TASTY WAFFLES!.....
Re: The oldest slogan (read the comments!)

Stupid woot and their filters... Anyways, it was a good idea, but you really needed to do some research. As for the rejection, I dont see the problem with it, being colorblind is fun. Non-colorblind people will never know how being colorblind is the best excuse for running a read light, crossing a red line, and much more.
Re: Recursion is fun because recursion is fun
This is awesome, especially since I learned recursion this semester! :D
This is better than great. My nephew and I had a class when we discussed it. He is taken, I told him we would enlarge and he could put it on his wall. Of course we voted. He wants his own acct, but that is up to his momma. He is using hers for now.
Ha ha Yeah I saw that episode of Will & Grace too.
Woohoo! No art! I can enter!

You should realize that this shirt owns.

At the very least the designer translated the saying from Trailer Trash
Re: The Secret
Isn't it redundant to list water and then Hydrogen and Oxygen seperately? It would have been better sticking to either molecules or atoms, but not intermixing them.

Need I say more?
Re: The graphics are not that great.
Great work, I voted for your design on both shirts,Rain
Re: ADHD Enabled
I love the slogan, layout is good, too.
But I just can't do white. It gets dirty on me INSTANTLY. Just thinking about it is getting me depressed. So many potential stains!
I might suggest resubbing this with a different shirt color!
Re: Split Personality
"Swedish Hooker" or "Sweet as Sugar"----they sound so much alike. Which one are you---at the moment?
Re: That Reminds Me...
This is the only shirt in this derby I'd buy.
And how is this a slogan? How is it any more a slogan than "H.ome is where the heart is"?
"By "slogan", we mean a short, memorable phrase - probably not a single word, and definitely not anything longer than a sentence."
That's the guideline, basically. As far as I can tell, it fits!
zekecatz wrote:So glad to see the resub. GMV
Thanks zeke! I'm really happy that I resubbed with correct grammar. I knew something was off when I first posted it too, I just couldn't put a finger on it.
Re: Thor is my Co-Pilot
I have looked over most of the entries and have discovered that this seems to be the best Norse god shirt in the entire derby.
Also the only Norse god shirt. :-)
I love mythology and I'm a fan of Thor (You're Thor? I'm tho thor I can hardly pith...) so this one's got my vote. I hope it wins.
This shirt exists. Perhaps multiple times. Big Dog shirts? Bad Dog shirts? Can't remember for sure. I used to wear them back when I sucked.
Re: The battle has just begun
I like it!
crayzass1 wrote:So why not put it on a blue shirt?
^^ does not get it?
Re: Rhyme time?
clever, nice color too!
SJTrubac wrote:clever, nice color too!
I agree. Too funny, I like this one! Though,I've seemed to like all of yours.
talbotini wrote:Yeah, the font doesn't go with this concept. It is very clever though. You'd get my vote with a better font choice. I don't think you should add anything representative, just stick with simple text. The problem is this text gives a feeling of old parchment or something, which doesn't make sense with a physics reference.
What about DaVinci? He didn't have tech fonts! ^_~ For that matter, neither did Newton.
I can see what you mean but something about this font worked for me. Maybe next time I'll take a poll before the derby starts.
aegis72 wrote:LOVE the idea, not a fan of the font choice - especially for a tech subject. gmv anyway, because all science shirs gmv.
Thanks for the vote and the feedback! ^_^
Because then it wouldn't be a shirt about doppler effect. ^_~
Yeah, it's a really geeky shirt.
