This is a rule that's been around forever, but may not be posted anywhere. Basically, Lucas will sue the CRAP out of anyone he can, so it's not in woot's interest to get in a lawsuit with him, not to mention you would lose every $ you made on the shirt in any case.

Re: Tomorrow Was Yesterday

Ever had your mom yell at you about mowing the lawn. You'd say "I'll do it tomorrow" and her answer would be "Tomorrow was yesterday." This is the slogan for all procrastinators.

Re: Hungry Otaku

Uh oh, who let the hungry Otaku edit this shirt? Well, I trust you're all smart enough to feed the rabid fan, but what about the people who see you wear the shirt.
WARNING: the wearing of this shirt may lead to being offered Pocky, Yanyans, Hello Panda, and random other bits of junk food! Wear with caution and only on an empty stomach. You have been warned!

Great Idea, but come on. This HAS to be on a red shirt. or black with red lettering (maybe yellow outlining the red lettering) except I hate black shirts

Re: That certain something

This shirt was not meant to be dirty in the slightest, and I'm sorry that the woot judges read it that way. It was simply making fun of the phrase "He/she has a certain 'je ne sais quoi'." If you read the "je ne sais quoi" as something inappropriate, then you must secretly be a 14-year-old boy.

It's unfortunate that something with multiple interpretations must be rejected because one of them is oh-so-slightly obscene.

It's even good for clearly articulate and fascinating storytellers to ironically poke fun at themselves. Mark Twain would have loved this I'm thinking.

Re: Apathy and Irony

There are subtle differences between Apathy and Irony. If you don't try, it's Apathy. If you win, it's Irony. get it? got it? good.

Thanks, dsgnGrl, for the feedback-- I appreciate it. Especially as a brand-new woot! user and a first-time submitter, I am grateful to you for making me feel welcome. You, dsgnGrl, truly uphold the pioneering, encouraging spirit that woot! embodies and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me the proper attitude for interacting with my brand-new woot! compatriots. I can only hope all woot! users are as beneficent and generous as you with their comments; if so, I eagerly anticipate my first posting on the forums and- joy of joys!- entering a second Derby. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm!

As I spend my unoriginal weekend out with my unoriginal friends participating in unoriginal activities, I will be thinking of you, dsgnGrl. Cheers! Oh... wait... that's been said before.
