One shirt with monkey, zombie, pirate and ninja. This one should be a winner!

Gee, you knit?

Re: This is where I hide my skin (pg13)

The last version got rejected because it said the word "nipple". Rather than cry about it I made a version that should hopefully be pg-13, if it's not then I am going to worry about woot, and if they have skin or not.

Just for the record... I have nipples.

This was my mantra every day in school. And, come to think of it, I still use it today. Especially in crowds. When it looks like someone wants to make small talk. Please don't pick me. Please don't pick me. Please don't pick me. (And yes, I know the ink color is close to the shirt color and won't stand out. That's the idea. A subliminal message.)

I like celery.

No joke! I love drinks, of all kinds. It is not uncommon for me on airplanes to have a diet coke, water, and tea on my tray at once. So when I see a glass, it's not half empty or half full, it's already half drunk!

I say this every day. I love you more. I love you more than you love me. I love you more than anybody else loves you. I love you more than I love anybody else. I love you more than blueberry pie. And I really love blueberry pie. I love you more. OK, so I say this to my dogs, but you could say it to anyone you want. I love my dogs.

I like celery.

Re: Color blindness

Even really colorblind people like me can read that. Your green and red need to be closer in shade to each other. Purple on red is always a good one that's way hard to see.

Sorry sorry sorry for the website address. I saw it was unclaimed and didn't think it'd be a bad thing to advertise an unclaimed site.

I'd click the "remove" button but it's disappeared too!

Again, deepest apologies!

OK, let me explain... I saw a news report years ago about a peanut surplus and everyone being interviewed kept making essentially the same comment -- they didn't know what they were going to do with all those extra peanuts. Well, I couldn't help but think to myself... Gee, I dunno, maybe we could take them and feed people on the planet who are starving?! Similarly, my sister told me about an article she read where some kids had sprayed graffiti on a newly built structure. The kids were apprehended, and all the interviewed officials kept saying essentially the same comment -- how are we going to clean up all this graffiti? And I couldn't help thinking to myself... Oh, I dunno, maybe have the kids who did it clean it up?! *(sigh)* So anyway.... every time I talk to my sister and we see something that seems to have everyone else baffled, but to us the solution is obvious, we ask each other this question... What are we going to do with all these peanuts?

I like celery.

Many of us are frustrated that woot refuses to put a quality control on their derbies. That's just part of the game.

Though let's be honest, three people are going to make $1000 for slapping words on a shirt. That in and of itself is a bit unfair. Not that I'll be complaining if I come from behind

Re: Doppler Blueshift

Blueshift refers to a shortening of a transmitted signal's wavelength, and/or an increase in its frequency. The name comes from the fact that the shorter-wavelength end of the optical spectrum is the blue (or violet) end, hence, when visible light is compacted in wavelength, it is "shifted towards the blue", or "blue-shifted". Since the longer-wavelength end of the visible electromagnetic spectrum is red, the opposite effect, of a lengthening of a signal's wavelength, is referred to as redshifting.

From Wikipedia article on blueshifting.

I like it! I really wasn't trying to steal your idea, I promise. I've been working on steampunk and gear-driven designs for several weeks, trying to put together a couple for serious entries, and this seemed like a good derby to submit to the steam, though I'm not confident that my 'as creative as you want, including hand-lettered text, but everything in your design must be part of the text forming your phrase.' interpretation is going to be accepted, though.
