Wow.

Just... wow.

This is like a precursor to this weekend, except this one has an image as well as a slogan. Sort of.

At least it's red?

A mostly text shirt Daily on Thursday followed by three text Derby shirts? Who's brilliant decision was that?

Ha ha.. that is so funny. It made me laugh out loud. The red color really accentuates the tragedy of the situation. If I wasn't a mother of a six year old, I would soo buy this. Gone are the days of my outspoken college years.. sigh..

Hot Topic much?

Shirt.Woot has become the ultimate troll.

Number of shirt.woots in 08: 23 (not counting randoms and shirts bought for friends)
number of shirt.woots in 09: 2 (same criteria)

if this shirt sellsout it will just prove that Woot can draw anything on a shirt and sell it..well not really surprising cause people spend 100s of dollars on jeans that are ripped beyond explanation..you pay double the price for half the quantity, funnyyyy...

The design is pretty funny, in a macabre sorta way, but I'm veering away from text based shirts (which is sad since this weeks derby is all text based). I don't really enjoying people trying to read my shirt while I'm walking around. Sorry Woot, pass.

This is hilarious. Yes, it looks poorly drawn, but hey, funny shirts are great when they are simple. In for 1

OK. This is *funny*. Twisted and sick, but funny.

Yay, I finally get to use my coupon from last month! There were a couple of others I liked, but I'm rarely online at this hour, so I missed out on them. :-(

As a psychiatrist I think it's funny but if I wore it to the hospital my patients might act on the suggestion. And then I remember their pain so I'll skip it.

Hey, I digg the idea of the shirt, but not the execution. You know, some people appreciate it when it looks like actual effort was done

Oh, forgot 'No Cure for Cancer' by pre-FX Denis Leary:

Voices in My Head:

I want you to get a gun
And head on down to washington.
I want you to climb up high
High in the sky and shoot them all.
Th-th-they don't deserve to live.
What did they ever give to you?
Na na na na na

Spoken:
You know what i want you to do
I want you to go upstairs to that apartment
Where that guy keeps playing that barry manilow record
Copacabana over and over and over again.
I want you to ring the doorbell,
And when he answers the door,
I want you to stab him in the neck
With a number 2 pencil over and over and over again because
He must paaaaayyyyy!
Chop him up and put him in the freezer
And as you leave the apartment
Light the place on fire!

Voices in my head, these are the
Voices in my head, voices in my head
These are the voices in my head

You should dress up like a clown
Bark bark howl

Spoken:
Hi you never called me back.
I got the pictures back from thanksgiving,
I don't know why you wear that earring
If your father was alive i don't know what he'd say.
I was talking to mrs. corelli yesterday.
You know bobby corelli who was in your grade?
He got promoted again in his law firm.
He's making 175,000 a year now.
Are you on drugs?
Why don't you ever call me back?
When are you gonna get married son?
Isn't it about time you settled down
And got yourself a wife
And got yourself a house
And a kid,
And got a car,
And got a dog,
And got a lawnmower,
And got a nice picket fence....

Voices in my head, these are the
Voices in my head, voices in my head
These are the voices in my head

(the voices in my head)
Why, why is it every time i gotta
Wait in farkin' line?

Spoken:
Why is it every time i turn on my television set
I gotta see sally struthers and those starving kids?
Why can't somebody just send her a check
And shut her and those god damn kips up?
Jesus farking christ! (where's rob reiner when you need him?)

Why, why don't they drop the bomb
Right on top of everyone?
Na na na na na

Voices in my head, these are the
Voices in my head, voices in my head
These are the voices in my head

What the hell? My comment gets erased because I said this shirt is not cool?

Should I go a little deeper into my review?

I dont like the text or the phrase. This shirt belongs in a hot topic or on some emo kid hanging outside the local mall.

Ive been on woot since 2005 and have posted 3 total times (before this one). Come on, leave my opinion on the site! i dont leave it much

Fellow w00ters:
For some time now, I have been working on a method to standardize my w00t.shirt purchasing decisions. I have resorted to doing this because I have already bought several w00t shirts in the past where the next day I was ?!? Now, granted, alcohol consumption has been a major factor in many of these questionable purchases, but not always! Sometimes, it seems I have gotten caught up in the moment. So, I figured that something must be done to stop such rash judgment.
Anyway, I have boiled the purchase decision down to 10 categories, with the price category weighted double (because everybody loves a deal, right?). Here is todays evaluation:

Summary
The w00t-shirt up for consideration today (I Saw Something Weird) is a "no buy". The evaluation is as follows:

1. Art (0-5) = poor (1)
2. Message (0-5) = none (0)
3. Humor (0 - 5) = none to very little (1)
4. Shirt color (0 - 5) = undesireable (1)
5. Shirt quality (0 - 5) = very good (4)
6. Mixes well with alcohol? (0 - 5) = good (3)
7. General coolness (0 - 5) = little (2)
8. Collectible ( 0 - 5) = some (3)
9. Intangible factors (0 - 5) = a little (2)
10. Price ( 0 - 10) = great (8)

Total score 25, average* = 2.5 (NO BUY)

I encourage w00ters everywhere to use this scoring method in order to avoid poor purchasing decisions. Save your money. Save yourselves.

NOTES:
*final score key
0 - 1.9 = run away from this one
2.0 - 2.9 = no buy
3.0 - 3.9 = swing, consider buying if I'm in the mood
4.0 - 4.4 = definitely buy
4.5+ = immediate buy

I'm generally stingy anyway, so I don't have that problem.

Re the scoring of this shirt, I would put humour/message a bit higher. I'd also remove the categories "shirt quality" and "price" since those two should be the same for pretty much every shirt woot sells (price would only be different if you were buying from the reckoning list). You can take that into consideration without putting it into scoring.

is this guy for real?? You all should check out his portfolio as an artist. Click on his name in the description then go to it. It's a complete joke, just as much as this attempt at a good shirt design. Maybe i'm too critical, but either way, i'm not buying this shirt.

Put this shirt on.
Walk outside.
Count the number of steps you can take before you get hauled off to the funny farm in a straight jacket.

I empathize with this shirt. Woe, too apathetic to use my coupon to order it though.

Though, it does motivate me to go play Snood.

Wow you guyes are bashing this shirt..WHY?

Have you ever seen the shirts like this at the department stores, they all have the same 5yr old drawing/writing look and they are classic. This shirt is pretty funny..actually its really funny. Some people are just really touchy with stuff, this shirt looks no different then any one of the same type that you can buy at JC Penny for $20....seriously, go and look.

I love this shirt.

Woot's always rejecting derby submissions for not being in good taste, but if they want to put out a t-shirt that encourages people with mental illnesses to kill themselves, that's a-okay? something's wrong here.
