As much as I love the snug fit of the WXL, I'd appreciate a WXXL as well. I have found myself ordering ML lately just for the extra roominess, and so I can wear them on days I don't feel like walking around with my stomach sucked in. Also it's so snug on the girls I feel like I'm going to break the printing on the shirt with all the tension I'm putting on it.

Who are you girls that the ML is equivalent to the next size bigger than the WXL? We must be shaped differently, because I don't wear the one I bought in MS because it's too big (also because cream turned out to be a horrible colour on me), but the WXL is my perfect size. My brother has a ML, and I look like a drowned rat in it!

The Threadless WXXL won't be a very valid comparison, if you're looking to see if it's the right size, though. They only offer the WXXL on shirts they are using their new line of t-shirts for, and they're custom made for Threadless, not AA like Woot uses and the older Threadless shirts use. I find that the WXXL is slightly looser than the AA WXL, but only slightly; if you like the WXL in AA you'll like the WXXL in the Threadless new shirts.

Still, more sizes the better! Kids sizes and a Women's 2X would be a good addition.

For me, I look at the cut between the men's and the women's shirts. The women's shirts are meant to be snug and form fitting, and the men's slightly looser. Per the size chart, the WXL says it fits a chest of 40-42 and waist of 33-35. The ML says it fits chest of 42-44 and waist of 33-34. Since my problem is mainly in the chest, and not the waist (except after shrinking, then both are snug), then the ML would be the next biggest size.

If what you are trying to achieve is that snug babydoll look that the women's shirts are trying to achieve, then I can see why you'd want a MS. I could probably do a MM, I just haven't tried. At least with the ML, I could get my husband to wear it, though he prefers getting a MXL. Per the size charts a MS would be at least 6 inches smaller in the chest. I don't think I could pull that off.

As it is, all of the designs are placed at optimum breast-gazing level so... just bring on the WXXL and the V-necks and that will make all of these great designs MUCH more interesting to look at!

This is so funny I found this topic, because i too was left wondering what the.... after i received my first woot shirt in wxl. I am a L in normal land and do have "girls" that are on the large size. So I thought ordering a wxl would be fine, boy was I wrong. When I opened it I was shocked how small it was. I put it on and it pancaked the "girls". While the fitted look is in the sausage look is not!

L.O.L!

I too would love to see fitted girls T's in W-XXL or even W-XXXL as I'm VERY busty and if these run small, the XXL might still be too small. Currently, I wear the mens 2x and it's comfy and roomy (I might even be able to pull off a mens XL but haven't tried it. Might get one during the next random sale).

I just want to chime in on the WXXL option. I always buy the WXL because I had to wear the hand-me-downs of three older brothers, so as an adult I refuse to wear men's clothes. I am a well-endowed woman, thus, I would like to wear a woman's cut. However, the WXL is just a little ridiculous. I usually just give the chest a good stretch as soon as I wash it in cold, and then hang it up to dry. Still tight, though. Go, go, go WXXL!!

OK, I know this one is old, but I really appreciate all you gals posting. I would also support a WXXL size given how small the WXL is. My WXLs fit perfectly out of the bag, but now I am VERY worried about shrinkage.

My 'girls' aren't really all that big, and I'm not fat, but my chest is 40", ribcage (right under the bust) is 35", and my waist is 31". I cannot figure out what Men's size I should try and order if the WXL ends up shinking on me. I was thinking ML since the chest was 40-42, but now I am wondering if maybe MM would be better if the men's tend to be looser?

I wear a WXL right now, and I find that the Mens mediums on me are a nice, looser fit. Perhaps for you a Men's Medium would be a perfect fit? Certain colours in WXL can be a bit snug on me, so I think you should go for the Men's Medium, yep

Come on woot! Get with reality. The average sized woman wears a size 14 that's a XL in most clothes. When I worked for a clothing store the venders would send a set of clothes with 1XS 2S 5M 2L and 1 XL and I always noticed that the XL sizes ALWAYS went first and the smaller sizes just sat until it was time to send them to the clearance isle. You would have many more orders for the larger sizes in women's. Print up some WXXL!!! and while you're at it find some WXXXL!

How much longer is the arm on a men's medium?
WXL fits me fine, even after the drier... but I noticed several shirts on tee trade that I'd like that are available in men's medium, but not WXL.
I hate for the arms to be too long on my shirts, though... so I wondered how the two compare...

It sits a little bit above the elbow, so yes.. there is a noticeable difference. However, it doesn't fall at or past the elbow, which a lot of my bigger shirts (Men's L, Men's XL) do. If it's a design you absolutely want, go for it. Then when you get it, you can judge the sizing for yourself. I personally prefer the women's cut, for the arms and the waist.. but, it's not something I notice when wearing a medium. Actually, my most all-purpose, comfy woot shirt is a Men's Medium. (Thanks, ehalc!) :D

I just got my first AA men's medium (a woot side deal from AntiClothes, Pacman Graph) today, and it fits great! I still prefer the WXL because of the shorter sleeves and shorter length overall (the MM is about 2 inches longer at the bottom than I would like, but that's not a hard fix), but it is not too tight across the chest. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Been wooting a long time, but have only recently (last few weeks) started reading the forums.

I wear an ML, and my girlfriend wears the WL. I was, frankly, rather surprised that the WL was the best fit for her, b/c I consider her pretty tiny (and this isn't just b/c I'm kissing up to her--she's more likely to cure cancer than start reading t-shirt forums on teh internets).

It seems like tall women (my gf is only five feet flat, which is probably why she's able to fit in the available sizes) of any real bust size are going to be hard-pressed to fit in the WXLs, especially after the notorious "woot shrinkage" in the wash.

The fact that woot carries men's sizes in up to THREE XL (and seriously, that will fit a pretty big dude--I'm 6 feet tall, 195 lbs, and the ML fits fine on me) but they can't carry even the women's double xl is just blatant sexism.

shirt.woot, I love you guys, but fix this. If you didn't carry such large men's sizes, I would say fine, both men and women are being treated equally, but this just reflects poorly on what is an otherwise great site.

I urge all women (and men), whatever your size, to add to this thread and make your voices heard: Size parity for the sexes!

Oh, and since I know someone out there will tell women to just purchase the men's sizes--that's male (the woot filter on that is hilariously appropriate). I wouldn't wear a woman's shirt, and neither would most other men; there's no reason in the world women should have to wear a man's shirt for lack of options.

Woot! I also support the WXXL movement! I'm wearing my Against the Sky in WXL right now... gah. I got it in the women's size as an experiment, mostly cuz it was a girlier shirt. I'm only like 5'5" and the shirt is barely long enough... I usually wear a ML, just cuz I prefer the baggier fit, but even my MM is a good fit. I like the shorter arms of the women's shirt/ overall fit. One more size for us non-tiny girls would be nice

Don't spend my time in forum much but I'd like to add that I would be in for a W-XXL too.

I find it depends on the color of the shirt. My 2 heather gray shirts fit better than my baby blue one. I tried on DH's ML just to see how it fits and it is the fit for if I wanted a bigger comfy shirt, although a bit longer and bunched around the hips that I would prefer. Plenty of room for the girls up top though.

Might try a MM sometime. It would be too small for DH so if doesn't fit me either it is kind of a waste of a shirt.

For crying out loud Woot. It's not like this is the first time we've asked for this. And there are enough of us who need the Xtra size that you don't have to worry about them not selling. You're being silly. =(

See, here's the deal for those of you that don't know how this works. I don't remember the exact prices but I looked 'em up and a case of women's Tees include all of the sizes that Woot offers. It's a mixed case. Then the WXXL comes in it's own box , costs a little bit more than the mixed box and they get less Tshirts. So the deal is, they don't want to provide the shirts because it costs them a little extra money, even though they would still make a profit. So they figure, "Hey, they're gonna buy mens sizes if they cant get the womens size they need so there's no need to even bother with the WXXL"

I'd be surprised if we ever saw them.

Well said! I found this thread by accident, but agree with everyone complaining about the sizing of women's shirts. I ordered a WXL for my 1st shirt, and it could fit my son, who is the size of the average 4th grader. Completely ridiculous!

There's no reason why any woman with meat on her bones should have to wear something that shows every roll, bump & curve. Yes, I could stand to lose a pound or twenty, but that probably isn't going to happen as fast as it went on. There are designs I'd love to wear by artists I like & respect, but I don't want to walk around in a 3/4 sleeved, shapeless sack, either. So I just get to wish...

Also, I agree with a lot of you girls about the names and sizes...I fit perfectly well into MS/MM and yet I have to stare at "XL" tags when I wear women's sizes. My boyfriend is baffled that women's clothes are often labeled like this. Anyway I should stop myself before I get into a rant =]

I think this topic is very interesting... because although XXL is technically one size up from XL, in the real world AA XL shirts would be size LARGE. I think that asking for real world Women's X-Large is a completely reasonable request.
At the beginning I went for Men's M on shirt.woot because I thought Men's t's fit better for me. The first time I bought a WXL I was really happy because the cut was much more flattering. I'm not that good with fashion, so this was a real revelation to me. I know this is not true for all gals, but I realized some colors of AA MM made me look frumpy! Except for the brown one - so odd.
So...Woot...what's the date of the first day you'll be offering Women's XXL hmmmmmmm? :D
P.S. I must be lucky cause my WXL shirts haven't shrunk. I wash in cold water and low dry.
