Re: Cofee Levels Critical

I love the design, I HATE the positioning on the shirt. This would have been my vote if it hadn't been for the fact that the design is on the pocket like some male work polo or something.

Fair enough. I chose the size and position for two reasons. One, the design itself isn't exactly deserving of a big front 'n center print. It's more of an infographic than a work of art. Two, battery level icons are traditionally in the corner of a device's display. The positioning here mimics that.

It represents the life that is the result of music, since music is such a strong energy.

Thanks for the comment! I really had fun reading up on the Hindu Mythology behind this design. Learned a lot of new information. Doesn't look like this design is clicking with the voters this week. But, that's okay. I'll use it for something else down the line. I may even do a painting based on the sketches. It was a fun one to put together.

Thanks again for leaving a comment. Really happy that you like the design.

SkekTek wrote:Man, that's two bad comments on the cup... should I axe it and resub? Didn't think it was a big deal...

The logo is totally fine. Don't get distressed because a couple of people think it's cool to act like they are so indie they can't handle a faux logo. My best friend works at Starbux in Chicago in the Goldcoast, and those too-cool-for-school indie kids stop in daily. Really.

Having said that, I really love the shirt. You may have some problems with votes because the way the shirt you showed the detail at a quick glance looks like a SUPER busy shirt. It's not really, but like I said, at a quick glance.

I love the shirt, I would totally buy it.

ah I love the size and placement! Some graphics does look good big and centered, but I think this is perfect where it is. Plus I'm a little tire of the huge graphics >_< GMV!

Re: Music powered

Really not my favorite. The colors look terrible and the battery looks like it was made it paint... flat and lifeless. It reminds me of a bad high school band/choir tour t-shirt or something. Sorry.

Re: Zee Sun

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is built into helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees

The sun is hot
The sun is not
A place where we could live
But here on Earth there'd be no life
Without the light it gives

We need its light
We need its heat
The sunlight that we see
The sunlight comes from our own sun's atomic energy

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is built into helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees

The sun is hot
(The sun is so hot that everything on it is a gas
Aluminum, copper, iron, and many others.)
The sun is wide
(If the sun were hollow, a million Earths would fit inside.
And yet, it is only a middle-sized star.)
The sun is far away
(about 93 million miles away, and that's why it looks so small)
But even when it's out of sight
The sun shines night and day

We need its light
We need its heat
The sunlight that we see
The sunlight comes from our own sun's atomic energy

(Scientists have found that the sun is a huge atom-smashing machine.
The heat and light of the sun are caused by nuclear reactions between hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, and helium.)

The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
Where hydrogen is built into helium
At a temperature of millions of degrees
